Upstairs features 2 separate yet open sleeping lofts with queen beds, outfitted with new high quality linens, quilts, and down comforters. Cozy and comfortable for a wonderful night's sleep. You'll awaken to bird song. (Note: the lofts are one large open space separated by an open stairwell.)
Grill outside on the gas BBQ. Sit by the fire pit (wood bin is stocked, just gather some kindling from the woods), roast marshmallows and tell ghost stories, while listening to the owls hooting in the woods.
Explore the property to find large rock formations and a seasonal flowing spring. Flower gardens and woodlands surround the cabin. Perennial flowers bring pollinators, butterflies, and hummingbirds. You'll find bird houses scattered throughout the property. You may see deer, turkey, ground hogs (aka whistle pigs), fox and pileated woodpeckers around the property and beavers, turtles and water fowl in the ponds.

We've had yet another amazing stay at Perry Pond Paradise. The cabin was as beautiful as ever. Clean, comfy and inviting. I just love the rustic charm in all the lovely details. We enjoyed our mornings sipping coffee on the porch and the chilly evenings out by the firepit. The host's are just the best! Thank you Gale and Frank.
My wife and I love the seclusion and beauty of the cabin and property. Can’t hear or see the neighbors at any point of the day (or night), but they all wave if you pass on the road. Cabin is very comfortable and homey, and has everything you need aside from food, if you don’t feel like leaving the property. Looking forward to our fourth visit.
This was our second stay here, the first stay took a piece of us, and we just can’t get enough! Such a beautiful, well appointed, comfortable cabin on a seductively secluded property!
Working different schedules and hectic world, this cabin is perfect for my wife and I to relax and reconnect. The area is perfect for nature lovers, Full of beautiful scenery and all the little creatures from Mother Nature. We cannot praise this property enough!
This cabin was PERFECT! Literally everything that you could ever want in a little cabin get away in the woods. Not only was it adorable, but everything we needed was provided. As soon as you walk in, the whole home smells like cedar. The teenagers had fun exploring outside and having campfires (wood provided) so much so that they put their phones down. There was a bottle of wine and chocolates left for us when we arrived. The host couldn’t have been any better! We already are talking about booking again next time we are in town.
My wife, daughter, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin! We spent nine days here and felt very comfortable with the furnishings, kitchen supplies, and layout of the property. The information on the listing is very accurate and the owners are very helpful. The area where the cabin is sited is tranquil and relaxing (we saw lots of wildlife). Also, there's lot's of activities to do nearby. Overall, a great experience for us! Thanks Gale and Frank for sharing your wonderful cabin.
Gorgeous rustic cabin with all the amenities. Beautiful, quiet (nothing but nature sounds) retreat in the middle of the woods. On a dead end road, so no traffic and wildlife to enjoy all around. A true gem, well beyond five stars! We LOVED it!!!
This was our second time staying at Perry Pond and we absolutely adore it. We enjoyed beautiful weather, coffee on the front porch watching the hummingbirds and in the evening while sitting by the fire, we would watch deer at the end of the driveway. The cabin has absolutely everything you need from linens, lush towels, pantry items and cookware. The property is so peaceful and the cabin is gorgeous. We highly recommend this property. The owners have done a great job providing information prior to the trip. Book Perry Pond sooner rather than later! Thank you Gale and Frank!
If you're looking for relaxation and seclusion, this is the spot. We rented for 4 nights over Labor Day 2021 and enjoyed every second. Very nice and clean cabin with a great firepit. Over those 4 days, I think we saw less than 10 cars drive by. Tucked away off a dirt "no outlet" road so it's as quiet as it comes.
Additionally, Frank and Gale (owners) were very easy and pleasant - communication was great and check-in/check-out process was a breeze.
We hope to rent again!
This was our second time staying at Perry Pond Paradise. Again we had an amazing time. The place is very clean and tidy. The decor throughout is very charming. We had an awesome time hanging out by the firepit. In the mornings we enjoyed coffee on the porch overlooking the beautiful flower garden. We BBQed everyday but the kitchen has all the essentials you'll need to prepare a meal indoors . The property is tucked in and private. There's also a beautiful pond within walking distance. The owners are very nice. If you are looking to get away and bask tranquility, I highly recommend this place! We hope to return soon. Thank you Gale and Frank for the bottle of wine :)
Perfect log cabin for a great escape to enjoy quiet and natural surroundings. House is nicely decorated, cozy, the owners are very thoughtful about making a great stay. Wish we could have stayed longer.
This property was even better in person. I stayed with my husband to celebrate my birthday. We both have very difficult and draining jobs and being able to disconnect from all of the everyday hustle and bustle was just what we needed. I honestly didn’t want to leave the cabin even to eat. I definitely plan to go back soon. Had no issues checking in and everything you need is there. The place is also very clean.
Thank you Gale and Frank for allowing us to be guests at your beautiful cabin. Upon arrival we were so impressed with the cabin and the surrounding area. The location is very private and peaceful. The check in process was simple. The owners leave a very detailed, helpful guide with all the info you'll need. The cabin was spotlessly clean and well stocked. The place is decorated very nicely. It truly feels like a cozy home away from home. We spent most of our time outside. We had our morning coffee on the front deck while watching the bees buzz about from flower to flower. We BBQed all day long. The evenings were a bit on the chilly side, so we really enjoyed sitting by the fire pit and listening to music. The beds are very comfy and the linens are super soft. We had a magical weekend away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We only wish we could have stayed longer. We plan to return soon. If you are looking for a place to get away from it all, reset and reconnect with loved ones, this is the perfect place for you. Thanks again Gale and Frank.

Had a wonderful stay! Nice, well equipped cabin in the quiet woods. Approximately 20-25 minutes from Bethel Woods Center for the Arts which is a wonderful trip in itself. Owner was very helpful and fast to respond to our inquiries.
If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is it! The cabin is completely private, you can't see any neighbors and we only saw 3 or 4 cars go by the whole time we were there. It's well located for area attractions, and only a few mintes from civilization.
We enjoyed sipping wine on the porch while watching the hummingbirds dart around the flower garden, or reading an interesting book we found in the cabin. The cabin is well equipped and comfortable, with a nice mix of modern conveniences and rustic charm, and furnished with an eclectic collection of antiques.
The owner was pleasant and easy to deal with. Check in was painless, and there's a comprehensvie book of instructions that answered all our questions. If we are ever looking for a quiet getaway in the Narrowsburg area, we would consider staying here again!
If peace and quiet is what you seek this beautiful woodland cabin is for you.
The owners have thought of everything here. From preseasoned logs for the firepit to complimentary wine to toast good times. The beds were so comfortable I could've layed there all day. Our only wish was that we only had two days. Next time will be longer.
Book it now people. The reviews don't lie... This place is a hit.
What a quaint and cozy cabin surrounded in nature! All the comforts of home await ... books, music, tv (although we didn’t even flick it on!) kitchen essentials, comfy beds and anything else you desire. A lovely printed booklet gave you all the details about the property, things to do in the area and check out info. We so enjoyed just sitting around the fire pit and on the porch watching the bees, hummingbirds, and butterflies work the beautiful wildflowers only a few feet away. So peaceful! Also awoke to birdsong and even saw a woodpecker. Grateful for the WiFi, as we needed to stay somewhat connected during our mini-vacation. So easy to book and check out. Absolutely would book again and recommend to friends. Thank you for sharing your piece of heaven with us, Frank and Gale!
If you are looking for a quiet, private getaway, this is the place to book. The house is immaculate and has everything you need and more. The grounds are beautifully maintained. I can't say enough about this place. There are hiking trails and tubing/kayaking just a 15 minute drive from the property. Also, a cute little town 15 minutes away, however, we had everything we needed at the cabin so we didn't leave except to hike and kayak. I highly recommend this property and we will definitely be back again.
What an absolutely amazing property with incredible owners! The cabin was immaculate, very well stocked and with every amenity needed. The interior was decorated perfectly and the landscaping outside was beautiful and naturally complimented the cabin and surroundings. We spent our mornings drinking coffee on the front porch watching deer, woodpeckers and hummingbirds and admiring the quiet calmness of the property. The seclusion of the property is complimented by the fact that anything you might need and can't find at the cabin, can be found 10 minutes away in the town of Narrowsburg. As we were leaving the property, the owners, Frank and Gale, were arriving. We then spent the next half hour talking with them about our next visit to their cabin! They are two of the sweetest and most genuinely kind people you could meet. We cannot wait to go back, but next time we're staying longer!

About the host
Hosted by Gale and Frank Rivera
After visiting the area in 1969 for Woodstock, we came "back to the garden". We lovingly built the homestead from scratch. For ourselves, our family and friends, this cabin has been the site of first kisses, engagements, celebrations of all sorts, and a place to heal. The peace and beauty of the woods work their magic for us every time.
Why they chose this property
After finding the land, we spent the next 2 years cutting and stacking logs with friends and family. Hard work but a labor of love.
