Spacious Eagle's Landing Cabin near Hocking Hills

Upon arrival to the Eagle’s Landing Cabin, guests will be greeted to a newly resided log cabin with a large, covered front porch. Guests will be pleasantly surprised upon entering the cabin because they will be welcomed to a newly renovated living room filled with knotty pine and beautiful dark brown hardwood floors. After spending the day outdoors, family and friends can relax on the large sectional to watch movies, cook homemade meals in the fully equipped kitchen, or play card games around the kitchen table.

There are 4 spacious bedrooms that our guests can head to after a long day of hiking in the local area. There is a large yard and plenty of field space for your dog(s) to roam around. Our favorite feature of the cabin is the firepit and outdoor space. Guests can enjoy quality time underneath the beautiful Hocking Hills and Wayne National Forest stars. The outdoor firepit gives our guests the opportunity to share memories, tell stories, and roast marshmallows around a crackling fire. The front porch and spacious yard allows our guests to enjoy flamed grilled food and play yard games. The hot tub is located under the covered porch so guests can utilize this anytime of the year.

We had a great stay. The cabin was clean and organized. Everything that we needed for cooking and enjoying ourselves was provided. We really appreciated the extra touch with the Christmas tree and decorations. We would definitely recommend for a family get away.

The property is inviting to pets. Description ia a little misleading, it is located on 7 acres, but you have other rentals close by on the 7 acres. The one bedroom is unusable due to heavy mold/mildew smell. Beds were very comfortable. It seems like they are in the middle of remodeling. A nice surprise was tge addition of a pool table in the garage.

Great trip despite the rain! Loved we could bring our service animal, the amount of beds, and the price. Would love to stay again depending on a couple things. Mainly the ant problem that took over. Literally. We had to throw food away and couldn’t sleep without ants crawling on us and when mentioned to the host there was no option of a future discount or future stay. This did not occur until night two, the night before leaving. Any traps should be out. Big bummer considering we understand with the rain, ants may come in. This was more than just ants, there were hundreds. There is no note of this anywhere! The host told me they spray, if you actually sprayed for bugs consistently there would not of been that amount of ants so maybe the amount of spray needs adjusted. The floors were not cleaned, mainly master bathroom, granted it’s a big property and dust collects. If you’re going to leave an envelope for a tip for the cleaner, make sure the home is clean. That’s kind of tacky. None of the tvs worked. You could not watch anything unless you had an active subscription. The binder needs updated. The property has mildew smell and there is old outdated furniture in the garage that may contribute to this smell. Overall it was a great property. I just want to make others aware and make sure you know check in is pretty late and check out is early and no you can not have a late checkout without being charged 25 hour. I wanted to rebook for October but unsure we can or will now.

We're sorry though that there were some issues during your stay and we would have been more than happy to have ant traps delivered to you during your stay or have one of our team come out and inspect the property. Due to the property being in a wooded area bugs can still be common but we do have our properties treated routinely and serviced as needed. We were not previously aware of any issues with ants at the property prior to your arrival. Your review will be sent to both our cleaning and maintenance teams so these issues can be addressed and looked into. We do greatly appreciate your honest feedback and we will use it to help improve future stays!

Perfect couple of days away!

The property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Lots of room, dishes, hot tub, huge master bath and towels. We had plenty of space to all hang out in the living room to watch a movie after a long day of hiking. We will definitely stay again!
