We really enjoyed staying there. Check in was really easy. Cable TV was out so they gave us a discount. Property is exactly as photos! Mrs. Walter was really helpful in giving us recommendations where to eat around there when she delivered the keys to us! Thanks!

Not our first stay and definitely not our last! As always, we felt welcome and right at home at the house. The host communicated early on check in process and even answered a question I had ahead of time. The walk to the beach is easy and there is a a hose and faucet under the house for easy cleanup of gear. The bedrooms are all comfortable and our kids all settled in happily in the rooms, there were even quite a few things for them to play with in any free time we weren’t at the beach. We did unfortunately experience our first mandatory evacuation due to hurricane Isaias but the host communicated with us frequently and ensured we were able to leave safely. We will be back!

This was a nice property only a short walk (about 2 blocks) to the beach. Kitchen had everything you need to prepare meals and a there was a very large deck to spend time outside.

This was my first experience booking a vacation rental and I could not have had a better experience!! The hosts were very kind and quick to communicate. The condo was very clean and had a super easy check-in/check out. Would definitely book this place again. My husband and I had a great time at Dauphin Island! Plus, this place is pet friendly and we got to enjoy it with our doggo. Great place to stay.

Our stay was great! The home is stocked, and ready to be your temporary home. It was very welcoming for our 2 kids, both kids rooms full of books, games and toys. The host was very kind and welcoming, we felt if we needed anything we could reach out. The home was clean, and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here. Hopefully next time we plan a trip to Dauphin Island we get to stay here again.

Beautiful weather and a wonderful stay. The house is well stocked with supplies and beach gear, and there was plenty of room for our family of five (including three teens!) and our corgi. Even with everyone together, we never had trouble finding our own quiet spaces when we needed them.The beach is just a short walk away, and anything you need on the island is only a few minutes’ drive. The kids caught a meal of flounder just a block away!The hosts are nearby, friendly, and readily available for anything from property questions to local recommendations. They’d probably even bring you a cup of flour if you needed it.We’ll definitely be back soon!

Very clean and well appointed beach house with a great owner. Super convenient to all of Dauphin Island and located centrally for ease of access to beaches, restaurants, shopping, etc. we loved our stay at the Caddy Shack and look forward to returning.

This was the second time staying at the Caddy Shack. It was great again. Close walking distance to the beach. We chose this VRBO because it’s dog friendly and our dogs absolutely LOVE the beach. Morning and evening walks on the beach are amazing.

The property was very cozy and welcoming overall. We enjoyed ourselves with our 2 dogs. The local people and businesses were very nice. We liked that several places were pet friendly. Everyone who visits must get a golf cart. They are convenient, and a blast to ride on.

Dauphin Island getaway.

We had a wonderful time staying in the Caddy shack on Dauphin Island. It is a great location close to the canal, beach and restaurants. The hosts were great and the cottage had everything we needed. Great memories made:)

Wonderful Pet Friendly House

Great 3 night getaway with our dod. House was clean and well supplied witha fenced area for the dog. Short walk to beach. Great hosts and great stay.
