Outdoor rinse off shower could be better but overall it's a nice small place with a short walk to the beach.

Great beach with hardly anyone else on it even during peak vacation time. While the house may be a bit “dated” the price is incredibly reasonable. This house will for sure be on our list for future vacations.

Nice location

We enjoyed the house and its location was great. The island was very peaceful. No crowds. Perfect place to be away from crowded beaches. Only negative would be the oil platforms and the clarity of the water.

Thank you, Thomas, for the kind review. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay and the peaceful location of the house. Unfortunately, the oil platforms and water clarity are factors that are beyond our control, but we're glad the overall experience was positive for you. We hope you'll consider staying with us again in the future.

Comfortable and beautiful location.

The house is very comfortable. But there were a couple of loose boards on the porch that could have been a tripping hazard had we not seen them first. Some of the dishes in the cabinets were not properly cleaned, so we had to clean them before we could use them. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.
Our view from the front door.

You're paying for the location, keep that in mind. Don't expect luxury. Im leaving 5 stars bc my kids had a blast and thats what matters. Its a cute little place with easy access to the beach, upkeep is poor, leaking septic pipe under the house, boards popping up on the deck, water hose leaks and sprays everywhere when you use it, shower head is more like a faucet, icemaker sits there and runs but doesnt make ice. 2 tiny roku tvs and only one of the remotes works. In their instructions we had to buy dishwasher pods, so we did before we got there, there is no dishwasher in this home... there wont be anything in the fridge, no ketchup, no mustard, no ranch, toilet paper was cheap, Im not bashing it, im just helping the next person know exactly what to expect. I'd stay again...I will.stay again, I just know exactly what to expect next time.

It means a lot that you would choose to stay with us again. We also appreciate you bringing the maintenance concerns to our attention. It was an older house but it got the job done for being at the beach. The vents in the master bathroom and the kitchen both leaked when it rained but other than that we had fun and there is no dishwasher. Not sure if that was on the info but it needs to be. Thanks!

Thank you, Antonio, for your review. The house is dated, as the listing indicates, and the price reflects that. Our maintenance team will look into addressing the leaks in the bathroom and kitchen you mentioned. We encourage all guests to inform our team of any issues during their stay so we can work to resolve them promptly. The lack of a dishwasher is noted in the property details, but we will look for ways to make that information more prominent. We're glad you overall had an enjoyable time at the beach property. Thank you again for your review.

DI vacation

DI is wonderful! The location of this house is perfect; it is only a minute to have your feet in the sand. The pictures represent what the house is - older and not updated. However, we came to the beach to be at the beach - not to wish this was how my home looked.

Older home

It's old; inside and out. It smells old. It looks old. It has old decorations. If there's a huge rain storm, the ceiling may leak. However, there are some awesome things about the location that others had problems with in there newer homes. The air conditioning works. The washing machine and dryer works. The oven and toaster over works which was awesome. The plumbing is good. The refrigerator works. That's really all you need. If you sweep the sand everyday and wash all the linens when you get there, the smell isn't all that bad. The location is great, and I wish I could give more than five stars for this. There's minimal stairs. The outside shower was great. There's chairs and umbrellas in each closet and under the beds. I even parked under the house. My son and I felt safe. So prepare yourself when choosing this home. If you want all the frills, then choose another house. This was my first time, and I didn't know really what to expect. For those amenties that I listed that were great, I would try the location again.

This house looked just like the pictures. Our group of five fit comfortably. We cooked and ate all of our meals there, and had plenty of room to sleep or relax and watch tv. It was truly only a one minute walk to a great stretch of the beach. We were very happy with the location. It was so easy to just run back to the house if we needed something while enjoying time on the beach. We would definitely return.
