The laundry room is under the home in a very awkward place and is dark there is no light. There is no shops to shop really for souvenirs either and there was dog poop under the bed when we arrived it was quite nasty. I would love to talk to somebody about this.
We found our stay to be prefect! Everything was better than expected! We came just wanting a quiet getaway in nature... and left with some of the best memories I've ever made.

Great get away!!!
We loved the location of the cabin. The covered porch on the back was great. The covered shelter by the river was also very nice. We also enjoyed a fire each night and the steps down to the river was wonderful.
The Cabin was very clean and the creek was so peaceful! The only thing I would suggest is to trim down the brush at the driveway so it would be easier to see oncoming traffic when pulling out of the property. Other than that, it was an awesome place to stay!
Loved our stay here. Perfect location on the river. Cabin and hot tub clean. Communicated minor issues that needed to be fixed with company so they could be fixed for the next people. We would stay here again.

Perfectly situated on the river and near town!
Quiet, private, killer deck on the river, comfy and clean!! Looks just like the pictures online. We will be back soon!
Great trip for my husband, my son, and I. Cabin was perfect in both size and location for us to trout fish all day, every day from the yard. Truly enjoyed it. The best part was the location of the cabin and that it was right on the water.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
The property is kind of shabby, doors delaminating, mirror edges worn. The couch was very uncomfortable with springs you could feel when you sat down. Shouldn’t have to strip the beds and start laundry when paying that much.

Cozy and private
We loved the location. Loved sitting on the deck right on the river. Beautiful view!
The view and hot tub was the only good thing about this place!Master bedroom ceiling looked like it could come down anytime had pieces crumbing into the floor the bedrooms and whole house had a terrible musky smell almost like the home was molded which by the looks of the interior that was a good possibility if you stayed in the home for more than an hour you developed a headache, the air filter also looked as if it hadn’t been changed in well over a month. We braved it for one night but sat up most of the night going out for fresh air.The house was surface clean but had some deeper issues. We tried to get relocated but the local vacassa property manager told us she couldn’t relocate us because there wasn’t any real issue. And offered to bring over a dehumidifier which was definitely a red flag obviously they must of known the house had some moisture issues.I’ve tried to get a refund but have yet to get anything back because we only stayed one night of Our trip.
The cabin is quaint and peaceful. Great location near Dillsboro/Sylva with easy access to Cullowhee.

Great cabin on the Tuckasegee!
Location, location, location. This is a perfect location! It's close to everything you need and if you like trout fishing, you're able to catch them in the backyard. Will be a yearly visit now that we found the perfect spot.

Old house with great river access
This house is old, and it feels it: creaky, drafty, and tight fits throughout (bigger folks will NOT enjoy the toilet). Access to the river, the view from the upper deck, and the quiet area made the house issues more bearable, but we will not be back.

Hello James, thanks for taking the time to share your experience with us. We truly appreciate your honest feedback as it helps us grow and improve. I’m glad to hear you enjoyed the river access, the beautiful view from the upper deck, and the peacefulness of the area. I’m sorry to hear that the house felt a bit old with creaky floors, drafts, and tight spaces that made things uncomfortable for some in your group. I regret that we didn’t fully meet those expectations this time. We would be grateful for the opportunity to welcome you back and provide you with the experience you truly deserve.
