Everything met or exceeded our expectation. If you’re traveling to Sylva or Dillsboro, I highly recommend this cabin. It’s secluded and quiet yet less than two (2) miles from downtown Dillsboro where we found plenty to do.
The cabin was amazing! Clean and so well stocked with anything you need (even a s'more treat). Very private and the hot tub was so nice after a day of hiking.
The house is gorgeous! It is very clean and well appointed. The hot tub was very enjoyable, and the host surprised us with s'mores goodies to make...yummy! It was quiet and peaceful sitting on the deck, just beautiful! For those of you with wheelchair vans, ours had difficulties making it up the driveway due to its low clearance, however, our other SUV made it up just fine. All in all it was a pleasant few days in the mountains.
This is a great house, lots of room, clean and a cool place to stay. We were in town for graduation and we could all stay together, which was great. The property manager was great and very responsive to any questions we had. Highly recommend and would stay here again!
Communication with our host was amazing!! She was always there to answer questions about doggie daycares in the area to helping with questions about the hot tub!! She would always be there!! The home was perfect for us 3 bedrooms plenty of space and the home provided a treehouse feel with nature all around us! We took hikes within the neighborhood which felt like we were in a state park! It was a beautiful area!! Take your time driving up to the home but when you're there you won't want to leave. However, delicious food is just down the mountain in Dillsboro!! You are close to everything but staying in a hidden gem.
Perfect cabin for family of 5 with 2 dogs!!Hiking on WCU trail center, s'mores by the fire pit, family game's around the kitchen table!! Explored really cool mountain towns Dillsboro and Sylve!! Great parks, amazing breweries, chocolate shop in Dillsboro was a pleasant surprise!Super fun 2 day family vacation!!Can't wait to visit again
Everything was as pictured. The house is located on the side of the mountain tucked away just enough. The road to get to it can be a little tricky but once you navigate it once all is well after. The overall stay was amazing.
This cabin struck the perfect balance of feeling like you’re in the woods but still near all of the activities in the area. Having a bedroom and bathroom on each floor gave my adult children their own space and made the stay even better since we weren’t constantly tripping over each other. We love visiting this area and look forward to returning to this cabin!
Fantastic property!!!! Loved the personal touches welcoming us as guests. . Beautiful views. Many amenities. We will certainly be back. It's a must stay. 😊
The cabin was beautiful and comfortable for us. Close to town but private enough to feel like a true mountain vacation. The drive up to the cabin was a little windy gravel road that after some rain, caused me some concern in getting stuck but we made it through ok and it didn’t hinder our enjoyment. Overall, great place, great time! Thank you for allowing us and our dog to stay!
This cabin was cozy and comfortable. It had everything we needed. The views from the windows, front porch and hot tub were amazing. We were close to stores and town but far enough away to be happy. We hiked, fished (caught a rainbow trout at raven fork in Cherokee) and visited the casino.
Our stay at this mountain cabin was absolutely excellent! The property was spotlessly clean, perfectly matching the listing photos, and came well-stocked with plenty of cooking utensils and towels. The host was fantastic—very easy to reach, with great directions and clear check-in/checkout instructions. The setting is magical, surrounded by lush green trees with a tall canopy where clouds occasionally rolled right through. We spent hours on the large porch in the comfortable rocking chairs, and at night, the fireflies put on a beautiful twinkling show. Inside, the family had a blast playing foosball and air hockey. There was also a warm hot tub available, though we didn't end up using it. As a bonus, there is an amazing BBQ restaurant nearby—definitely get the ribs and peach cobbler! We highly recommend this wonderful retreat.
