Place was really comfortable and was pretty straightforward as an off-grid cabin. So much better than camping and more isolated than a hotel. Perfect place to chill after a day of exploring the area.
This is rustic but that is ok, the description fits the accommodations. We do a lot of overlanding so this wasn ’t a big deal to us at all though it might seem like more work to people that are used to a 5star hotel. We had a slight issue with plumbing when we checked in on Saturday and Kaitlyn had the plumber out first thing Monday morning. Her communication was great throughout the whole stay. It was quiet and peaceful and a great location for anyone wanting to explore either the north rim or southern Utah. OurDogs were happy and we enjoyed it a lot! We will be back.
The property was exactly as described... off the grid, yet comfortable, and very peaceful. Kaitlin was an awesome host, with continued communication from pre-arrival to check-out. Highly recommended to disconnect from this crazy world and get back to basics.

Wonderful retreat, used this as a base to explore three National Parks. Loved being off grid and in the wilderness. Our host was friendly and welcoming and very easy to communicate with too.
This is glamping well done, though you have to drive dirt roads to find this place. It is clean and beautifully decorated, complete with water pump on patio, water filtering system in the kitchen, composting toilet, electric refrigerator and battery operated lights. The owner is attentive, friendly and guided us through the house so we knew how to work it all. complete with games too!!
What's a wonderful way to experience this part of the country. I really enjoyed glamping at this cabin with my family. Hostess was wonderful and showed us how to use everything. Thus was a great stay!
We enjoyed the quiet, beautiful stay this cabin provided! All of the amenities were easy to use and gave it a camping feel but just kept us warmer at night. Kaitlin is a great host and was so quick to answer any questions and concerns. We would definitely stay again!
This is an amazing place.
Beautiful and secluded. Every single detail to make for a perfect stay is attended to. Solar lighting and water makes it all modern and rustic at the same time. I could happily stay there forever and forget the busy world.
The most wonderful off-grid experience. The wood stove made it the perfect cozy winter cabin. Kaitlin provided everything we needed: plenty of water, towels, cookware/ingredients, bedding, lanterns, and more. It was such a comfortable, amazing experience. Would love to go back!
This is a darling, off the grid, little cottage. The stars were spectacular. It was hot during our visit & we were pretty warm at night without A/C. Just expect it to be sort of like camping.
Wonderful communication with Kaitlin. The place is a hidden gem & we definitely recommend!
Amazing host, my only thing is the check time was a little too late in the day for our personal liking. It’s a nice space and property if you have pets, just be cautious with your pets as there are lots of stickers. If you like remote off grid spaces then this is a great place and such a kind and friendly host 😎 great off-road trails nearby

Book if you understand what Glamping is.
This property is at a very remote location and staying at this property is more like camping. If you understand what Glamping is and you are ok without electricity to power your laptop or running water and enjoy the stars, then this is for you. Property manager Kaitlin is very responsive and helpful.
We had a wonderful time in this quaint off-grid cabin! Kaitlin is wonderful and we had everything we needed. She gave us good recommendations for restaurants and groceries. Nighttime was so quiet and peaceful and you can go outside and see millions of stars in the dark sky! We went to the tourist things during the day and spent nights puzzling, reading, playing checkers and grilling. If you're looking to simplify and unwind this is the place!
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at White Sage Solitude, such a fitting name! It is both rustic and quaint, exactly what we were hoping for. Our host, Kaitlin, met us at check in to go over the workings of the off-grid cabin. She was a delight, made sure we had everything we needed and offered up some local places to explore. The cabin was the perfect base camp for our outings to National Parks, including the North Rim and Zion, as well as some lesser known spots. Our last two days temps dropped significantly, the little wood stove kept us exceptionally warm and cozy. This was one of our favorite trips together and we look forward to returning one day. Thank you for your hospitality, Kaitlin!
After many years of wilderness & remote tent camping we decided to upgrade to something more comfortable & secure. Good choice since the weather was very wet & cool even for March! The wood stove kept us warm & our Rhodesian Ridgeback appreciated the cozy cabin. Carefully read the property details & reviews & you will not be disappointed. Kaitlin was easy to communicate with & very helpful with local advice.
this is a beautiful spot for a couple who enjoys a rustic getaway. Well-equipped and well thought out "off-grid" creature comforts. Easy driving to all of the amazing "must-see" spots of south-central Utah and the Arizona strip. The stars at night were amazing. My only reservation was with the propane stove, which really should only be used with the windows open. Not a problem while we enjoyed beautiful sunshine every day, but...
The quiet and the Beauty of the desert were mesmerizing! The quaint cabin with modern conveniences via hand pumps, composting toilet and a propane stove and oven were fun! Sleeping with the windows open and having total silence besides the crickets, was like camping in luxury!
The only downside was that it was so far away from the canyons. But the drives were beautiful!
Cute cabin, well appointed and great for a relaxing get away from the city. It's definitely glamping- pump your own water, no internet, TV, etc. but an adorable cabin with everything we needed to be comfy and unplug for a while. Close enough to Kanab for supplies, Bryce, North Rim of Grand Canyon and hiking trails to do fun day trips, and still come back to quiet and no distractions. It helped that we brought a cabover camper when we did want to microwave popcorn or to charge some of our AC devices (drone, laptops). The cabin does have solar that powers the lights and fridge and that you can use to charge your phone, etc. but no AC outlets.
This was a cute little cabin away from it all. We brought our two dogs for a weekend hiking trip (bring a bed for them since it's a tile floor). Even just walking the nearby dirt roads was beautiful. There are a few hiking trails up the main road to the cabin that we did as well. It was interesting to stay in an off the grid cabin. You really start to see how much waste and water you use per day without really thinking about it. If you're looking for an eccofriendly trip, I'd recommend this place. It was quiet, with a night sky full of stars.
Off-grid is not for everyone but for those of us who love it, this was a gem! It reminded me of cabins when I was a kid in the 80's; everything you need with none of the extras. I brought a very senior dog with me and the trails were heaven for her. We were able to do daily "hikes" that were her speed. My young dog was able to explore and even built the owners their very own stick collection. Kaitlin and her husband have created a unique little paradise with all the essentials.
