Great location, close to so many different restaurants and shops! House was very clean and communication with the property manager was simple and easy.
Clean and comfortable beds. It was loud - no kidding but the back bedroom was better insulated from the outside evening activities. Walking distance to the Quarter and Fairgrounds. Great host too!
House was in great shape. Beds were comfortable. Everything worked well. Had a gated and locked space for parking. Located across from an overpass with food trucks playing music so it was loud at night. Host is easy to communicate with and responds quickly
The host was amazing with communication. The house was very nice and clean. I do wish we were a little closer to Bourbon Street and the French Quarter.
The host was very responsive and a great communicator. The amenities were fair and comfortable. Plenty of space for our family. The area is a little rough but we knew that before booking. We never felt unsafe. The house felt secure and protected. Very close to all the NOLA action.
Took my team to NOLA for a planning session. The house is not in the best area BUT we enjoyed our stay and the owner has taken great steps to ensure safety. The layout of the house is perfect with common areas dead center, bathrooms (2) flanking them, and then the bedrooms.Craig was super responsive and even agreed to ship an item that I left behind. We had no issues during our four day three night stay.
Property is fantastic and convenient to New Orleans attractions. Can get loud at night until early hours of the morning with the nightlife activities going on across the street. Was not an issue for us but can see how it would be for some visitors.
Great location in a friendly and accessible neighborhood. The house was great. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of common room for family, friends, and everything in between. The host great with information, we never had to contact them, but I knew if needed they would be responsive. Great stay, great house, great location.

Neighborhood was not good but the place itself was okay.
We stayed at Craig’s house for a weekend getaway. It’s a clean house, comfortable and well equipped. Great communication with the host. At first we were a little skeptical about the area, but everything was great. We had an amazing time in New Orleans!!
Central location in NOLA with spacious gathering area and patio. The bedrooms are clean with the most comfortable beds and adequate space for luggage. Tbe bathrooms are clean with amenities and tub/rain shower. We found the space supplied for dining and TVs for entertainment. Outside space is comfy with lots of space and secured with entry gate. Location has stores and restaurants within walking distance with friendly greetings. We used Uber with average cost 10-20. Ther is bus service out front and each corner. Communication with Owner was informative and addressed any needs. We were thoroughly pleased living in a modern furnished home exemplary of NOLA style and a courteous host.

The surrounding area is quite noisy with traffic and although we had no trouble, I wouldn’t walk around here at night. This is the only reason we gave this property 4 stars. Everything else was really fantastic.
First, the host is wonderful and very responsive! The house is adorable and has private, gated off-street parking. If you are seeking adventure and culture, this is a great place to be. Don't let the neighborhood deter you. We walked almost everywhere we went. Even coming home after 1am on a Saturday from Bourbon street. We never felt unsafe and the locals are very friendly and some will wave or chat as you walk by. During our stay, there were gatherings under the bridge across the street, with occasional loud music, but we really enjoyed the vibe. It was cool to see the community come together and we got to relax on the deck, listen to tunes, and people watch. If you aren't a "go with the flow" type of person, or want something without sound, this wouldn't be a good fit. But if you enjoy adventure and are in for a true experience, give this place a shot.

Nice house sketchy location
When asked for suggestions by the homeowner:
My suggestion would be to let people know they are in the heart of the ghetto. There is a homeless person who lives on the front stoop, and they may find someone selling alcohol out of the back of their vehicle in the driveway on the weekends.
You should also make it known that there is a deafening party that takes place every Sunday night. The noise level is indescribable. I have been to concerts that weren’t that loud. The noise was to the point where you can feel the vibrations inside your body when you’re in the house. Police sirens were literally going for hours without stopping. Renters will not want to come home until after 9 when the party ends. Even the homeless person left.
Otherwise the house is adorable. If it were located somewhere else we would have appreciated the outside more and it would have been perfect.
The location was excellent the neighborhood was definitely in the 7th ward in NOLA. You can walk almost everywhere from here. The weekends can be loud with the people and food trucks and traffic from the cars. The over path from cars is very loud. The outdoor space was nice when the weather was nice. He was very responsive throughout our stay.
We had a great experience staying here. The property management group were communicative and checked on us to see if we needed anything. They were very responsive to any requests we had. The location itself is nice of you’re looking to be slightly away from the French quarter but with in a 5-8 minute Uber ride. The freeway is across the street so the traffic noise can be loud but quiets down at night. The neighborhood seems rough but that’s just on the surface. Everyone we encountered were so nice and warm and we had no issues at all. I would absustay here again!
Very nice property. Comfortable beds. Host was wonderful. Don’t let the look of the neighborhood scare you. My family and I felt safe during our stay.

Beautiful place, unsafe location
We really had mixed feelings about this place. Did the house look like the pictures? Yes. It was a very nicely updated house that was clean and comfortable. Was the communication good with the owners? Absolutely. However, what they aren't showing is the area AROUND the house. It is 'rough' to say the least: broken glass, abandoned buildings, sketchy shops. Our Uber driver told us not to walk back to this house alone at night and he was right. One of the days we were staying there, two people were SHOT directly in front of the house. We heard the gunshots and saw the guys laying in the street. The neighbors were really nonchalant about it too. We talked to one and they said it happens all the time and they're used to it. I know New Orleans has a violence problem but you go up 2-3 streets and it's much nicer/safer so if you're staying in New Orleans I'd pick a different spot either closer to the french quarter if you want to party or in the garden district if you want a safer/quieter area. Also the area around this VRBO is very loud like the other reviews say and it did wear on us but at least we knew about that.
I don't want to hurt the business for this rental because it was a nice house but at the same time the reviews and description/pictures aren't being very honest. We feel lied to. Honestly, it's not a safe location and I wish I had known that before booking especially with how much it cost per night.
