Great getaway

Great location, private, quiet. Had everything we needed and our host was very quick to reply to our questions. There had been a tornado in the area one night and I was never so happy to see those cabin lights.

Amazing view

My fiancé' and I stayed at Lazy Bear Inn for 3 nights. The cabin is super nice. It was very clean and the view of the mountains is spectacular. We've stayed at cabins in several different states, and this was by far our favorite due to the view. The drive to the cabin is paved, which is a huge bonus. It was easy to drive to and easy to find. This is something that's not always the case in the mountains, especially with a view as incredible as Lazy Bear. The gas grill was appreciated and so was the fire pit. It was peaceful and a much needed break from our hectic jobs.

Exactly as pictured. View is beautiful and you can watch the sunrise from the balcony. Quiet and serene. Beds were comfortable. Would stay again

Perfect cabin!

We so enjoyed our stay! It was in a wonderful location close to both Ellijay and Blue Ridge. The road to the cabin was great. Cabin was clean and well stocked. Beds were very comfortable. But the best part of the cabin was the beautiful mountain views!! Would highly recommend and definitely stay again!!

Everything was clean and orderly for a pleasant stay with an easy check in. Instructions for check out were simple and not too extensive. I would like to mention something, though, which would have deterred my decision to book if I had been provided with this information sooner than 36 hours before check in and too late to modify the reservation.. This may not affect many, but it was a damper to me. The check in instructions mentioned to not set the thermostat lower than 70 degrees or else it'll damage the condensor. I usually set mine to 68 or 67 at night and those few extra degrees make a huge difference, especially since I'm pregnant! I woke up sweating several times and ended up leaving late in the afternoon instead of staying another night. Again, that may not be an issue for most people, but it would have been a nice detail to know beforehand and I might have inquired about a different location.

Great view

The house was clean and loved the 2 bedrooms with king beds. Would definitely stay there again. The hot tub and fire pit were perfect on the back deck. The view of the mountains was beautiful and to watch the sunrise in the morning. We really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend this house.
