Beautiful, spacious, modern home with outstanding entertainment areas both inside and out. Furnished to the highest standard, this home offers a truly luxurious holiday experience. The lower level has a family room to the left opening up onto the sparkling pool with uninterrupted sea views. To the right is a large beautifully furnished open plan lounge/dining room which leads onto a fully equipped kitchen. There is also a guest W.C. and separate laundry room on this level. An impressive spiral staircase leads to the second level which contains 4 bedrooms, and 3 bathrooms, 2 en-suite. The main bedroom is enormous with a walk-in dressing room, en-suite bathroom and lounge area. 3 of the bedrooms open up onto a large balcony with stunning sea views. The house is situated in Gordon’s Bay, a small village popular with South Africans who know the best of what the country has to offer. It’s not difficult to see why: unlike much of the Cape, the sea is warm and safe. Then there are numerous nature reserves and beautiful walks in the vicinity. If you prefer to be more active, you can go deep-sea fishing or sailing and there are three excellent golf courses nearby. Down the road is the renowned Stellenbosch wine region, alternatively use Gordon’s Bay as your starting point to the Garden Route. In spring, pods of whales can be seen and heard from the balcony. In all, Gordon's Bay is a wonderful location to enjoy the best that Cape Town has to offer, and with this house you can do it in style!

An exceptional villa for a week’s stay. If i could give more than a 5 star review i would - The property offered privacy, spectacular ocean views, and a gorgeous pool. Everything was beautifully maintained and thoughtfully set up. We left feeling completely refreshed and would absolutely return.

perfect place to stay. Gordons Bay with its great bfst places a 20 min walk, perfect for exercise. The pool is a major plus looking out at Table Mountain and The Strand. Manager and owner very chilled and helpful. Accommodation plentiful and clean. Storage in the garage for golfers a saviour. Every gadget in the villa that you would need, but we were out mostly. Seemed very safe, despite being ungated, aside from the Baboons :-). Coffee pod right accross the road. Don't book this place we want it!

We loved our time at this beautiful property. We were two families and there was enough space and bathrooms for everyone. The kids enjoyed having the extra living area and the table tennis in the garage. We loved sitting at the fire and enjoying the views and the beautiful sunsets. Richard took good care of us and was excellent with his support and communication. We will definitely stay at this property again if we are in the position to visit.

Gordon’s bay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely property in Gordon’s bay . Never got sick of the amazing views of false bay . Ideal to be far enough away from Cape Town but still close enough and I’d highly recommend this property . We stayed for 2 weeks and the comms from Richard were very good . He was always very helpful and offered lots of help and ideas for our stay .

The house was perfect for our needs. The location is excellent. Richard the property Manager was truly exceptional. Ensured we were happy. Plenty of space for all the family to enjoy. An inverter was installed during our stay which will be an asset in the time to come. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was so lovely and offered a homely atmosphere for our holiday and a warm space to reconnect with friends and family. Amazing view and so quiet and peaceful. Fabulous villa

I cannot recommend this rental property enough. The house is beautiful and safe. Communication with the manager was the best I’ve ever experienced. He was willing to help us with anything we needed. Richard even drove us to the grocery store and waited, then drove us to a restaurant to pick up take out. I’d love to come back and stay here again. Thank you!

Magnificent views and perfect home for us.

Three couples stayed at this home with a most beautiful view of False Bay. Made those cups of coffee and gin and tonics even better! Richard met us as we arrived and gave us a personal tour of the house. He was just a text or call away if needed. We were also checked on by the owner of the house which was fantastic of him to do so. Well stocked kitchen, clean house and … did I mention the view!!!! A 5-star 5 nights for us in Gordon’s Bay.

Great Holiday in Gordon's Bay

The house is fantastic and very well equipped. The views are stunning and Gordon's Bay is a great fun place as a base to explore the Southern Cape. The agent was very responsive and helpful. The only issue we had is that as business people the broadband was very inadequate which caused us some stress along the way. The cleaner was very pleasant and efficient and the owners instructions ver helpful. If I was certain about the internet connection I would not hesitate to rent the house again. Ken Symons

The broadband issue has now finally been confirmed as fixed! It took quite a while to get the broadband provider to recognise the fault as it was intermittent but they eventually tracked it down to corroded cables entering the house (the sea air!). Since then we have had several guests at the house and the broadband is no longer an issue. We recognise that having good connectivity when you away from home is important and apologise to Kenneth and his guests for the inconvenience caused by this issue. We're glad everything else was to their satisfaction.

Photos don’t lie!

Everything about this home was just as nice as it looked on the webpage. Views over False Bay were fantastic and entertaining. The kitchen was modern and well-stocked; clothes washer was handy; both indoor and outdoor furniture were comfortable. Much of the indoor furniture was high-quality wood and deserved care. Neighborhood is upscale, with ample security. Short drives took is to nice beaches and beautiful hikes in nature reserves. Daphne, the manager, was superb. The house has a nice TV, but no cable or satellite subscription.

Wonderful Family Place

This was everything promised and more. Richard met us for check in with instructions and keys. A Welcome bottle of wine, chocolates and strawberries as well as sparking juice in refridgerator. The master bedroom is HUGE. Beds are very comfortable, and kitchen is extremely well stocked with everything needed to cook if so desire. An hour from Cape Town, we enjoyed hiking up Table Mountain and paragliding off signal hill. This rental is also on the whale watching route, not far from Hermanus. The pool is small but perfect for cooling off and the second lounge is almost like an extension of the pool area, wonderful place to relax and whale watch (in season, June to December). Absolutely beautiful view of Table Mountain across the bay, different every morning.

Es war einfach nur fantastisch. Es hat alles gestimmt. Das Haus war toll, der Blick atemberaubend und Richard als Gastgeber war so liebevoll, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Bästa utsikten!

Fantastiskt läge en bit upp på bergssidan i Gordons Bay. Från terassen såg vi valar, delfiner och sjölejon. Perfekta terasser med panorama vy från två sällskapsrum och även till frukost. Mysiga sovrum med tre av dem med utgång till terass samt eget badrum. Pool som är lagom stor för att doppa sig i och hålla värmen stången. Tvåbilsgarage. Under vår femveckors vistelse så stortrivdes vi. Vi gjorde "bort oss" med larmet två gånger - väktare var på plats inom 5-minuter. Fastighetsförvaltaren Richard är en pärla! Han ser till att allt fungerar och att vi fick information om "road shedding" löpande. Dessutom gav han goda tips om såväl matställen som andra sevärdheter. Bästa fastighetsförvaltaren vi har haft under våra 12 säsonger i SA.

We had a lovely time at 77! Beautiful house with breathtaking views. The sunsets were amazing! There was plenty of space for our family of 8. The property manager, Richard, gave us a warm welcome and took very good care of us.

Great location, stunning view, spacious property

Gordon’s Bay is a great location for visiting Cape Town, the Wine Route and east to Hermanus and beyond. There are numerous golf courses and vineyards within easy reach. The house is located in the prestigious Mountainside area and without doubt has the best views of False Bay across to Table Mountain, which are absolutely stunning. The house is large, spacious and well equipped and Daphne made the booking process and arrival very smooth and efficient. If I had to provide constructive feedback I would say the terrace adjacent to the bedrooms is crying out for some seating as it has the best views at sunset. Finally the interior is in need of a new coat of paint to freshen the whole place up and do it justice. Would I return to the property again - absolutely in a heart beat - so I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

Our family of four adults and one infant had plenty of space in this beautiful home. It is well cared for and appointed, with comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, a lovely pool, garage parking and a stunning view. I like this side of the bay because the sea-water is warmer, you are closer to the vineyards of Stellenbosch, and it is just a whole lot more chilled out! A place to unwind. Yet, you can still easily get to Cape Town when you want to live it up.

You will be looked after in Gordon's Bay by our wonderful property manager Richard Kvalsvig, who will meet you at the house and ensure you have a wonderful stay.

What makes this property unique

The views are just spectacular, there is always something going on in the bay, and in Spring the whales come right into the bay, you can often see them from the house.
