The house is exactly what we needed. It has a wonderful lakeviews from the frontroom, dining table, and front room, The house was clean, well decorated (sea glass motif down to the exterior door glass :), with plentiful nice linens, and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. Location was excellent with easy beach access which we needed because one of us has a chronic disease that easily becomes fatigued. They enjoyed beach time which they haven't done in years. There were many unexpected items at the house which were useful such as the beach cart in the garage along with nice Tommy Bahama beach chairs and drink spikes, the firepit sticks, and books about seaglass. The front yard did not, at first, seem exceptional, but with the trees' shade, the view, the firepit, and Manistee's humane July temperatures it is a little piece of heaven. The beach is so, so beautiful and almost private. It is very clean, and has wonderful native plants growing on the beach. Most of our time at the house we did not use the air conditioning as the usual July temperatures in Manistee suggest keeping the windows open. That way we enjoyed the breezes, sound of the waves crashing, and the leaves rustling. However, there was one day when there was a heatwave, and we did close the windows and turned on the AC. The AC unit was not quite up to the job of keeping the bedrooms off the kitchen and main room. The pictures for the house accurately show that
