We were looking for an overnight property while being out in Temecula for a wedding and when we arrived at dales property we were sad to only be able to stay for one night. Such a charming home and so much room for everyone to feel comfortable. Great distance to the wineries. We definitely will be back to spend more time enjoying this property.
Dale's house was perfect for our family getaway! It's situated in a quiet neighborhood about 30 minutes from Old Town. The house is stocked with everything you might need and the property was peaceful. We would stay here again!
Appreciated the space in the house, the property and the holiday decorations. It made a last minute trip over Christmas Day feel homey! Beds were comfy.
The property is unbelievably beautiful and working with Dale was a dream come true. The entire process of planning was effortless because Dale was approachable, helpful, and kind. He was more than accommodating and a calming presence. I cannot recommend Dale’s beautiful property and home enough to future guests. The grounds were beautiful but so was his home. Very cozy and inviting, a home away from home.
This is a great property. The house was a great size. We love the trails and taking our dogs for walks around the property. It was very quiet and relaxing. The peacocks roaming around were a great surprise. Would definitely stay here again.
Property was absolutely beautiful and more homey than we were expecting. Check in and out was simple and quick. Take time to wander the property (it's STUNNING) and keep an eye out for the awesome wildlife! Make sure to keep the screens closed or you might get a visit from a bird
I would have given it 5-stars across the board if we didn’t have a bad smell coming from the refrigerator/kitchen. The house is cozy and is on a beautiful plot of land. It had all the essential items needed for our stay. We noticed a smell when we first walked in but it wasn’t too bad. As we looked around the house and started putting our food and snacks away, the smell became very noticeable. There were quite a few items left in the refrigerator and freezer so I didn’t want to clean it out thinking it was the owner’s. From a communication standpoint, Dale was very responsive. I informed him of the smell in which he said he would address.
We got married here over the weekend and the property and the owner were both fantastic. Everything was exactly as we wanted and needed it and the owner was helpful and responsive to everything. I highly recommend it for any kind of stay!
Such a beautiful home and very close to many wineries! Dale and his family were very kind and accommodating and have great recommendations. I would absolutely stay here again, if I went back to the Temecula area!
When we showed up, Dale was there within minutes. Very friendly, we ended up spending at least a half hour with him, just talking. Great host, great guy! Loved the unique vintage decorations inside. Wish we could have stayed a week! It is everything the pictures show, and more. Thanks Dale.
Everything about our stay here was amazing. From the ease of checking-in to Dale's flexibility of checking-out, it was hands-down the best experience I've had with any rental property I've had.
We held our wedding on the site and our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful everything was. We had some younger guests who told me they had the best time because there were so many things to explore. Our dog had free roam of the huge property and we could tell she was just having the time of her life.
Dale himself was the best host we've encountered. He was accommodating to all the vendors we hired for our wedding. He helped troubleshoot the heaters during our event. Dale even took the time to get the fire pit going and entertained some guests with stories of the stars while showing them how to make s'mores.
We literally can't imagine having had our special day in any other location.
Dale let me host my baby shower here and it turned out so beautiful. He was a big help with everything throughout our stay. The house is lovely, pictures don’t do it justice. We had a wonderful time and can’t thank you enough for making sure our stay was the best.
I booked this property for my wife and other family for a Girls Weekend of Wine Tasting. The house and property made it a great get away!

The location was great for the wedding we were attending! Every dish we used we had to wash. Refrigerator was full of condiments and such. The freezer was so full we couldn't use it. It is a ways from everything so try to bring food with you and avoid needing to go out. House had 3 bedrooms however the only TV was in the living room. Only one couch in living room so 4th person had to sit on floor or piano bench. Beds were comfortable and house had needled supplies. Definitely not a luxurious condo but for the needed location it was ok. Property owner was very friendly and helpful
Based on the property's reviews, I thought I'd found a nice place for a family getaway, but... this will be a mixed review and I'm being as balanced as possible.
First of all, we enjoyed watching the cotton tails in the grass and the peacock strut about. The beds and bedding were nice and comfy. The downstairs bedrooms and bath were updated.
However, the upstairs bedroom and bath were not only out of date, but they were also run down and a wall partially painted. The WiFi was a nightmare. It was so unstable (unusable) that we couldn't use the TV much of the time, nor could we access the Internet or email on our laptops On the second day, the owner placed his phone outside on a table to serve as a hot spot. And if your cell provider is Verizon, you will not have coverage at all.
Overall, the grounds were not cleaned up. The floors weren't swept and the carpets and throw rugs were unwashed. Personal items were everywhere--in fridge, on shelves, in cupboards. A handful of vitamins and a medicine bottle cap were left on the bathroom floor. Personal shower items (including a used bar of soap) were in the shower for our use? A bedroom ceiling fan was broken and bedroom window slats were missing. A dirty hand towel was left under a bed. Like I said, not cleaned.
Being out in the country, it was quiet and a private location, which was nice, plus the owner lives on the property, so he and his wife were available if needed.
I didn't expect luxury accommodations, but I don't think it's too much to expect cleanliness.
The owner agreed to a small refund because the WiFi was not working.
Stayed here while visiting the wineries. Had a little trouble getting an uber in the area but the house was beautiful and we had an amazing time here.
