Hi Jack, we are so glad that you enjoyed your stay! A little disappointed that you gave the home a 3 overall, as bed comfort is always pretty subjective and varies greatly per person. The bed in the loft is actually brand new, only about 3 months old. We hope that you come back to Grand Lake again!

Were sorry that you felt the cabin was too close to other homes, pictures are taken directly from the yard and the driveway of the home and the listing states that the home is in the Columbine neighborhood. Hi Allyson, we are glad to hear this cabin was in a great area and quiet during your stay despite a couple of other issues. This is the first we have heard of poor quality in the mattresses, but the owner is aware of the curtains and is in the process of replacing them! We hope to see you again!

Hi Michael, we are glad that you enjoyed Golden Moose! Trash disposal is something that we take seriously because of the many bears in the area. The trash fee is certainly not meant to be a threat but a reminder to do the right thing and dispose of trash responsibly - it happens more than you would think. We did go by the home after your departure and the fireplace works just fine, so we aren't sure what the problem was there. We are delivering more drinking Glasse to the home this week as well.
