Distinctive ocean front home with pool, elevator to all floors, and private beach. Five bedrooms with two queen size beds in each and one master king with jacuzzi. Elegant décor with themed rooms reflecting the owners' international travels. Two glassed sun porches, balcony, sundeck, and veranda with rockers. Downstairs bar with grill, and hammock. Expansive paved parking. A home designed for comfort and elegance.

Fully handicap accessible with the elevator serving all floors and a bedroom on the main floor with a handicap bathroom. There is a stair lift on the Ocean front porch that accesses the ocean front deck and walkway to the beach.

The kitchen has granite counter tops and features a curving bar that seats 8 people. Kitchen has a glass top range, oven, microwave, and warming oven. It features a large double door refrigerator and undercounter dedicated ice maker.

There are two laundry rooms with washer and dryer - one on the main floor and one upstairs.

The swimming pool is heated in the spring and fall and has chaise lounges and chairs for poolside enjoyment.

Guests can have the option of making 1, 2, or 3 payments. Just mention in your initial inquiry that you want to set up payments and we can respond accordingly.

All questions were quickly answered. Each room with its own theme told a story. The pool was clean and the ocean view was absolutely amazing! Quiet beach. Loved all the comfortable rockers on the back deck. Great for watching the sunrises.

We had a great week at Cape Cobb! The beach house was very spacious for all of us. Great kitchen and porch for dining and playing cards at night listening to the waves outside our door! We loved lounging by the heated pool also.

Cape Cobb Vacation

We were amazed at the beauty and spaciousness of the property. The closeness to the beach and the views of the ocean could have not been better. The pool was an added bonus. Probably the best placed we have stayed in all of our beach vacations.

Great Location, Beach and Pool

Fantastic place for family and friends for a vacation. So nice to go from beach to pool and easily back and forth throughout the day. We used the grill multiple times and parents used the elevator all the time. Every room in the house is very unique and interesting. Owner was very responsive both setting up reservation and making sure our stay was comfortable, even checking in with us mid week. Would definitely stay again.

Great Beach home and location

We have just spent a few days and the views of the sunrise and sunset are just spectacular from the rocking chairs. The home is truly a living museum of the owners worldly travel. The kitchen is equipped with everything. Jack was very easy to contact and work with. We hope to be back to the beach soon.

Fabulous Beach Vacation

This place didn't disappoint! The location was outstanding! It is on a dead end road with a beautiful private beach. The back decking had ample chairs for relaxing, while taking in awesome views. Although most of our time was on the beach and in the ocean, the pool was a nice change. It was private and a great place to hang out with a cocktail. The kitchen, laundry and bathrooms were well stocked with soap, towels, etc. The host, Jack, was very responsive to our communications.

Best beach location ever!

This house is amazing with a beach view to match. All of the rooms are huge and decorated in very interesting themes. There are multiple rooms with plenty of space for our group of 10 to gather and enjoy our time together. We enjoyed the beach every day and moved to the pool each afternoon to chill out. We had an issue with the air conditioner upstairs but after calling Jack, the owner he had his guy out to fix it within a couple hours and followed up with us to make sure it was okay.

Perfect Beach Vacation

Our family vacations together every year...8 adults and 5 children, 5 and under. Every member of my family agreed that this is the perfect beach-lovers haven. We love walks of the beach in the early morning, coffee on the deck, sunbathing and playing in the the sand and waves until noon, afternoons spent in the private pool, finishing in the evening by grilling out or ordering in eating a collective family meal. We LOVED this home. There were family movies, books, games, for rainy days and evenings as well as infinite areas of interest in EVERY room. I loved the way the owners provided display cases of so many collections. We loved looking at them and discussing them. I enjoyed reading Mrs. Cobb's book written as a sequel to Gone with the Wind.This is an amazing home and it is unbelievable the owners choose to share it with others. I made a request to have the pool warm enough for my grandchildren who are 5 and under to swim. It was like bath water!!! All my family agree that is was the best pool experience ever! We always rent a house/cabin with a pool...they are never warm. Mr. Cobb was prompt and kind in every communication. Any family who stays here is in for a very special treat!

Great time with family, home was spacious. Other than frozen pipes in one bathroom for 1st couple days, musty smell when first walk in and a couple roaches in kitchen near ice machine ( we purchased spray)- no other complaints.

The house was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay.

The stove and microwave stopped working in the middle of cooking breakfast and I didn't know the cause. I called the owner and he never responded. By the time we realized it was a breaker and found out where the breaker box was, our breakfast was ruined.

My wife always loved the ocean so we built this home to spend time with our family at the beach. She did all the decorating and painted the murals you'll see in the Egyptian themed Master Bedroom. Our home is in Columbia so we are only about 3 hours away.
I lost my wife in 2020 but I love sharing the beach house with our guests. I get many compliments on the distinctive and different ambience she achieved with her design.

Why they chose this property

Our Beach Home is located in Long Bay Estates adjacent to the Myrtle Beach State Park and less than one mile South of the Myrtle Beach Airport. Very convenient to all of the major attractions in Myrtle Beach. Less than one mile from the Market Common life style center with upscale shopping and numerous upscale restaurants. The Myrtle Beach State Park Pier is a short walk north on the beach. The pier is a popular fishing and viewing attraction. This year we counted 6 Turtle Nests along the shore. They are attracted to the quiet and privacy of the beach along the State Park.

What makes this property unique

Long Bay Estates is a small residential neighborhood with the ocean boulevard closed on both ends. We adjoin the Myrtle Beach State Park on the North end and the road ends at a camp ground on the South end. This results in a lightly occupied, nearly private beach. Very little traffic on the street so it's safer for children.
