Family Matters was a great home right on the beach. We had 8 adults staying there and it had plenty of room for all of us. The weather was perfect! We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub when we had enough of the surf and the view from the porch was amazing. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay here. The house was perfect for our annual family gathering. Plenty of space for all. The pool was great as well as the easy access to the beach. We also enjoyed the beautiful butterflies around us. Eric was easy to get in touch with and quickly addressed any of our concerns. We all want to return.

The property was well taken care of and very well stocked with all needed items. Communication with the host was very efficient, he always responded quickly. If there were any issues, he was very quick and fair with resolving them. We hope to stay there again!

You can’t beat the pool, the porch, the gorgeous views, and the easy access to the beach! The property owner answers any questions quickly ! Great for a big family.

8 girlfriends from high school (class of 1975!) met for a week in this beautiful home! We had a great time! Enjoyed the covered balcony porch each morning for coffee and breakfast and many times throughout the day to just reminisce and catch up. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and many chairs around the pool. There were beach chairs, pool noodles, sand toys for kids… for borrowing. Well appointed kitchen and table that seated all of us! Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for all us. Close to downtown Surfside Beach and the pier, lots of restaurants and shops. Although it rained or was cloudy most of the week, we had a wonderful time together!

This was an amazing vacation! The house had plenty of room for our big family with small kids. “Family Matters” was located right on the beach with amazing views of the ocean. The kids enjoyed the pool and the adults enjoyed the hot tub! But, it wasn’t just the home and location, it was also all the thoughtful accommodations. Beach towels, beach toys and chairs, games, books! (And I am a reader!), tv’s in every bedroom, cooking pans and utensils. Thank you Eric for such a wonderful stay at Family Matters. We would love to come back and visit!

Great Extended Family Vacation Spot

This property worked out very well for our extended family gathering of 10 people. It has a great location right on the beach. The pool works well as a change of pace from the ocean waves too.

Great Family vacation spot

Family Matters is a great name for it. Great for all ages. Loved view of beach and easy access to beach. Pool was great and 5 bed rooms plus bunk beds in hall was perfect for our group of 14.

Great Beach House

We absolutely loved our stay at family matters. Beautiful spacious home with everything we needed to relax. The pool area was great when the kids were tired of the beach and made evening mealtime even more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend!

This is our second stay here at Family Matters. The location is an A plus! The new walkway to the beach is great and we thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals (too many of us to go out!) We made some great memories with our 4 children, their spouses and our 8 grandchildren.
