Nice vacation home

We had a wonderful week at the Peneda Gerês. The house is well located and has an awesome architecture: a mixture between old and new. Everything is clean and functioning well. The landlord is very supportive and sympathetic!

Lovely relaxing stay near National Park

Lovely place to stay on the edge of the National Park. We were here for 3 nights to explore the National Park. It was a lovely place to explore. Didn't use the house much to be honest, as we were out walking all day. The kitchen was well equipped, plenty of cooking equipment and crockery. Shower was nice and warm. Host was lovely, approachable and welcoming. Thank you.

Beautiful house with a nice view

Lovely stay. The house is a typical house located in a village near the National Park Peneda Geres. Plenty of light and nice garden with a swimming pool. The only point is there is neither blind nor curtains in the major bedroom. The owner is very responsive through WhatsApp.

Uma fatia do céu perto do Gerês

This is a great house that's far enough from the touristy and crowded area of Gerês, but close enough to drive there every day (~15 minutes). José welcomed us into his family's beautiful vacation house, made us feel at home & was very prompt and friendly when we had some setbacks. The pool is great (heated) and there's a BBQ area that's not very visible in the photos, which we definitely took advantage of! Our dog also loved the garden. We'll be back for sure.

Simply fabulous

We highly recommend this accommodation to anyone that's looking forward to an amazing holiday stay in beautiful Portugal. The house is situated in a quiet mountain village surrounded by nature, a national park in the area and impressive hiking routes. It's equipped with aplenty necessities at arms reach, sufficient space, a lengthy pool, gorgeous construction and facilities and has pleasant room temperature with the help of numerous airconditioning that provide warm or cold circulation. The host is just the kindest, most generous host we've ever crossed paths with. You will feel right at home at this accomodation. Moreover, you might want to consider staying permanently. Do yourself and your travel partner(s) a favour and book this accomodation, don't hesitate, you won't regret it. We hope to return soon. Many thanks José. We loved our time spent at your home and in Portugal.

UNA BUENA EXPERIENCIA

Dos parejas, con un adolescente cada una, pasamos aquí una semana muy agradable. Y en cuanto a espacio, estuvimos muy a gusto. La casa tiene tres habitaciones: dos grandes y una pequeña. Una, tiene una cama de matrimonio; la segunda, dos camitas personales; y la tercera, dos camas, más grandes que una personal, pero más pequeñas que una doble. La primera habitación tiene su baño completo. Las otras dos comparten dos baños, que entre los dos hacen uno. Me explico: el primero de ellos tiene un inodoro y un lavamanos; y el otro, una bañera y un lavamanos. Se encuentran uno frente al otro, separados por un pasillo. Hay un tercer baño completo fuera, en la terraza, junto a la piscina. El salón es bastante espacioso y tiene una tele razonablemente grande. No la usamos, así que no sé si funciona. La cocina-comedor es grande y está bien surtida de electrodomésticos, platos, cubiertos, etc. Tiene lavavajillas y microondas. No hay olla rápida, y las sartenes están totalmente machacadas, inutilizables; nosotros compramos una en Braga. La terraza, los jardines y la piscina, fueros los espacios que más utilizamos. La terraza tiene una salida directamente desde la cocina-comedor, lo que la convierte en el lugar perfecto para desayunar, comer, o cenar, si hace buen tiempo. La piscina tiene el tamaño perfecto para pasar el rato en familia, o echar una nadadita; y aunque no estaba todo lo limpia que nos hubiese gustado, no puede decirse que estuviera sucia. Tienen una barbacoa de carbón.

Pasamos unos días estupendos en la casa de Josè, que es encantador y muy amable. Estaba siempre disponible por whatsapp para resolver cualquier duda. El lugar es precioso, con un jardín muy cuidado y tambièn la piscina, que pese a que apenas la podimos disfrutar por el mal tiempo, es un lugar muy relajante. El interior de la casa es muy amplio y bonito, estuvimos muy agusto y esperamos volver en el futuro!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans la maison de José. L’emplacement est parfait pour visiter les cascades du parc national de Gérés. La piscine a été très apprécié de tout le monde. La maison est vraiment bien agencee et bien équipée. Pour 2 familles, chacune avait son intimité pour les espaces nuit. Même si nous n’avons pas rencontré José à l’arrivée ou au départ, il a toujours été disponible durant le séjour. Le seul bémol mais qui ne dépend pas de José, c’est les chiens du voisinage qui aboient jour et nuit.

Zalig verblijf in een huiselijke woning van alle comfort voorzien. Groot verwarmd zwembad met prachtig uitzicht. Ideaal was de wc en douche aan het terras. Enig minpuntje was het flauwe licht in de badkamer aan de master bedroom; niet evident voor mannen om zich daar te scheren. Maar badkamers genoeg. We zijn heel hartelijk ontvangen door José en hij heeft ons alle nodige uitleg gegeven.

Fantastic house with perfect view

Great surroundings in the mountain and close to national park. Shopping also close to the house. Very convenient. House very well equipped. There was all we needed. Very happy we chose the house it was just as we expected and we enjoyed our stay at the house all 14 days we have been there. Communication with the owner was perfect and we got all the help we asked for straight away. Jose has helped us every time we have been in contact and everything was really great. His recommendation for restaurant has been perfect :-) We really enjoyed staying in the house a lot.

Não temos palavras para descrever o quanto adorámos a nossa estadia nesta casa. Esteve tudo 5 estrelas e é o sítio perfeito para recarregar baterias e relaxar. O anfitrião Sr. José Amaro é super amável, prestável e sempre preocupado com o nosso bem estar. Esteve sempre disponível desde o primeiro contacto. As condições da casa são excelentes e a própria casa é única. As vistas são de tirar o fôlego e a piscina é a cereja no topo do bolo. Caso o objetivo sejam umas férias relaxantes e com muito convívio, este é o espaço ideal. Super recomendamos e tencionamos voltar. Muito obrigada. Adorámos.
