Fantastic location and fantastic host

I had a great stay at the BNB. Hosts were available for anything I needed and the room was very clean. I slept incredible every night on the very comfortable bed. Highly recommend. Such a treat that it came with a little car for me to explore - or just get out of the rain.

Friendly & helpful hosts! Went above and beyond to ensure we had a good stay. Very clean and comfortable bed. Close to restaurants and attractions. Very grateful to have use of the laundry area (especially after fishing) and thanks for the recipe :)

The room was just recently updated featured comfortable beds and was a very clean room, property managers were very friendly and helpful check in was easy and was a good stay while working in Kodiak.

Perfect Spot

Great place in Kodiak and the room and car idea if fantastic. Easy access to everywhere in town and the car comes with a pass to one of the popular local parks. Hosts are kind. This is a perfect choice for your stay on the island.

We stayed at this location for five days. Great location. Walking distance to town. A vehicle was available if needed. Host met us on site and offered to help out if we needed help

Comfortable studio and great location

This studio was comfortable and was located close to restaurants. The only reason we’re rating it as 4 stars is because we didn’t realize breakfast was not included or that other services were offered by the owners. If you book this place, ask the owner about the other services such as boating and fishing. Overall, great place to stay!

Great location nice property

I was in Kodiak for a conventional at the KANA marketplace - I couldn’t have been located ina. More perfect location. I didn’t have to use a car once - even in the rain - I was too close to everything to justify driving! Property was very accommodating, very clean, very quiet. Host was SUPER AWESOME to deal with!

A bed n breakfast with no breakfast, a unit with no sun blockout shades or adequate noise insulation

We expected a room with two queen beds, got a room with one bed and a hard cot. The traffic noise from the street outside made it impossible to sleep until midnight when the cars stopped driving by. Hard to sleep with no solar shades or curtains and the sun is out for 20 hours a day. The owner did pick us up and drove us back to the airport as promised but later inferred we should pay him $25 for each trip when the rental car we had agreed to rent wasn’t available the first day we were there. We were finally reimbursed for the one day’s car rental after protesting with the owner. The location was great, it was clean, and they had a clothes washer and dryer they let us use, which was nice. We just couldn’t get much sleep between the traffic noise and lack of blackout curtains of some kind.

Business Meetinf

Lee and Annie greeted me with smiles and had my VRBO clean and ready for my stay. The VRBO is centrally located in Kodiak making it the perfect location to walk all over downtown Kodiak (eg. Near restaurants, breweries, shipping and the harbor. Thanks and look forward to my next stay.

Very comfortable!

Nice big room, comfortable bed, good shower, friendly hosts. Table and chairs on the deck outside our door. Bonus of free washer and dryer available, and we did all our laundry here, which was an unexpected benefit. Loved Kodiak, and we'd gladly come back and stay here again!

Amazing visit

A spectacular stay with the greatest host. We failed to rent a car in Kodiak, but Lee was quick to solve our problems. He also took us on an unforgettable boat ride. The room was perfect and we can’t wait to return. Highest recommendations for a wonderful experience in a special part of the world.

Perfect little spot

What a wonderful place! Loved having a kitchen that we could do some cooking and not eat out for every meal. Lee is a great host! When we needed something, he promptly got it for us. We would definitely stay again when we visit Kodiak in the future.

Great room, great host, central location

The owner, Lee, was very helpful, knows a lot about Kodiak and can take you on a boat trip. The room is large and pleasant, just what I needed. Located 100m from the center and the major harbor, a walking distance to near Island and Bear watching flights etc. It will be my selection when I return to Kodiak.

We have years of hosting and guiding visitors in Alaska and Kodiak Island. Moving to Raspberry Island and Kodiak the summer of 1982 to raise my family and build a Wilderness Lodge that my son and his family now own and operate. 2008 started A Downtown Bed and Breakfast and enjoy all the options in Kodiak we offer for our guests here.

We are centrally located in downtown Kodiak with snow capped mountains and are surrounded by the North Pacific Ocean. Famous for its Salmon fishery dating (back the 1800's) and the Kodiak Brown Bear, we are a worldwide travel destination. So much to do and enjoy both worlds: Land and Sea. Birds, Bears, and Whales....

Our location and custom built property makes us unique. We want a "Feel Like Home" feeling for all that visit us and Kodiak.
