If you're an experienced surfer, the waters around the toe of the Osa Peninsula are sure to offer plenty of thrills. Head out on a guided tour of the jungle, where you'll spot native monkeys, anteaters, macaws, and maybe even a Costa Rican jaguar. This region also offers opportunities for fishing, cycling, jungle zip-lining, and white water rafting. You can head 11 miles north to Puerto Jimenez, where you can find several stores, an art gallery, bars, and restaurants.
Be sure to visit restaurant ENCANTA LA VIDA, located just a little over two miles up the coast.
