This place is a little difficult to get to. Twisting roads. You have to walk through the bathroom to get to the game room. And when you use bathroom 3 doors must be locked for privacy. Kitchen is pretty well equipped. Hot tub was clean. Fire pit was nice. Since the bathroom was awkward I will probably not stay here again for that reason

Thank you for your review and we appreciate the feedback. We have addressed these issues and we are very sorry that you experienced that. We hope that you will come to stay with us again!
Overall this place served it's function but I wouldn't stay here again.
Location: Not far from anything at about a 15-22 minute drive from the places you'd want to go. However, the two immediate streets you need to turn on to get to the cabin are VERY steep and after a light snow we did not feel comfortable driving out the next day. We had Instacart bring groceries but even they wouldn't come down the steep hill. He called us and said he couldnt make it to us safely and so we would have to walk up and down the steep streets to meet him at a corner to get our groceries.
I believe it should be noted in the listing that a 4-wheel drive vehicle is recommended during snowy weather.
Accuracy of Listing: We chose this cabin because it said there was a fire pit. Notice that there are no pictures of a fire pit. This is likely because there isn't a place for the fire pit. It is a mobile fire pit cylinder on wheels and was on the side of a hill. The only place to use it is the driveway.
The kitchen is lacking majorly used items. There was no cheese grater, only one regular sized pan for cooking, and the only cutting board was 9" long at it's longest side. The knives had cheap plastic handles and very dull. Glad we brought our own.
Cleanliness: Upon arrival, I looked at the comforters. They were old quilts that looked dirty. I picked up a pillow sham and smelled it as I just had a feeling they weren't clean. They smelled like a greasy head.
There were only 4 pillows in the entire place for 6 people. The pullout beds had no bedding available, only one throw blanket. There weren't any extra blankets either. I called and the PM company and the cleaners brought two blankets as well as a clean quilt for each of the two beds as well as two queen pillows. The lady was very nice.
This place is in serious need of an update. The laminated floors are bubbling and peeling up. The toilet leaks when you flush it, the couch is dirty and the decor looks like it came from the dollar store.
The spa might be 20 years old and even though I brought my bathing suit I wouldn't get in it. Black flakes were floating around and I know just what that is from, having bought a house with a jacuzzi tub. It is biofilm from the lines not getting cleaned properly. There was also a clump of hair floating around which leads me to believe that it isn't really drained between guests.
The best way to sum this up, is that this cabin meets your needs but lacks pride of ownership.
Cabin was very nice and comfortable for 4 people. Nice game room and fully equipped kitchen. Very quiet area close to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and the National Park. The roads to the cabin were a bit of an adventure and not for the week of heart🙂
The cabin was very nice. The roads to get there were, of course winding, but also on the narrow side. The pool table was fine, but no ball for foosball and all the board games were missing pieces.. we did get to see a couple of bears.
Great little getaway! Cabin was very clean and spacious enough for myself, my husband and our three teens. Kitchen had plenty of utensils, jacuzzi tub in the bedroom was nice and the hot tub on the deck was amazing. We will def consider this cabin for our next stay in Tennessee.
Our stay was fine at the cabin, we honestly weren’t there much. Rule with hot tub was 98 degrees..it was like bath water. All and all the stay was fine. It was clean and accommodated what we needed. The roads there are very narrow and curvy, so be prepared.
