About this property

A Mountain Haven by Colonial Properties

A Mountain Haven is a bright and roomy cabin located halfway between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, offering a peaceful mountaintop vacation with easy access to nearby towns. With one master bedroom suite and an extra sleeping area with a full bath, the cabin can accommodate up to four guests.

A Mountain Haven has a happy secret, too. This is one of only two cabins located on this secluded, private cove, so you’re sure to have plenty of space to yourself. Better still, the neighboring cabin on the cove makes a terrific place for your family or friends to stay while you’re tucked away here. Rent both cabins together for a getaway shared with your nearest and dearest! The cabin does offer Wifi but it is subject to weather conditions. This may not be available at times.

Living Room

This cheerful living room is full of natural sunlight reflecting off the warm, golden pine interior. Generous picture windows bring the outdoors inside and let you bask in the Southern sunshine and the mountain views. The incredible vaulted ceiling, with its unusual triangular window at roof level, adds to the spacious brightness in this airy space. Sink into the plump, plush sofa to watch the flat-screen TV or admire the blazing fire in the big, stone fireplace. Original oil paintings of Smoky Mountains scenery grace the walls here.

Kitchen and Dining Area

The convenient kitchen adjoins the large living area and brings a touch of country charm to every meal and snack at A Mountain Haven. This open-plan, fully equipped kitchen has everything you’ll need to prepare your own delicious meals easily and quickly, so you can get out the door to your Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg adventures, or linger over your dessert on the deck! With its classic blue-and-white tiles, wooden cabinets, ample storage, and close-at-hand appliances, this kitchen encourages hanging out while the chef is at work.

Your dining space is the big, tile-topped kitchen island with seating for four. Once your meal is ready, or you’ve plated your local takeout treats, you only have to turn around to serve it.

Rec Room

Upstairs, explore the roomy loft beneath the exposed ceiling beams. A beautiful old-fashioned pool table is ready for you to play, whether you’re a serious pool shark or you’re just having a little fun. A flat-screen TV overhead provides another spot for catching up on your favorite shows, movies, or sports. Play with the giant checkers set as you sit next to the unusual triangular window.

Want to catch up on work e-mails or go online to plan your next outing? Settle down at the rec room table or counter, with room for your computer, tablet, and all your notes on the great eateries and entertainments in Pigeon Forge.

Bedroom

Located just off the living room, the cozy but spacious master bedroom suite is lovely, from the graceful wood-and-iron bedstead to the one-of-a-kind artworks. Step onto the deck directly from the bedroom, through a French door that reveals wooded views outside. If you’d rather stay in, just relax on the king bed or soak in the jetted tub that’s right in your bedroom. There’s a separate shower stall for your convenience, too. The loft holds more than just the rec room. It’s home to a second sleeping area with a comfy, king-sized bed. The loft sleeping area has its own private, full bathroom with jetted tub and shower—no sharing, no trekking up and down the stairs to wash up.

Outdoor Spaces

The modern deck and the amazing views you get from there make A Mountain Haven extra special. Sit in the rocking chairs and you have all of nature at your feet because this cabin is on a mountaintop! Ridges and valleys are laid out in front of you, green in spring and summer, blazing with color in the autumn, and frosted in winter. Bring your favorite hot drink, wine, or traditional Tennessee moonshine out here to sip in the fresh air. The bubbling hot tub has its own covered nook on the deck so you can use it in privacy and comfort at any time. Grab your robe and towel and try hot-tubbing no matter the season.

Great Cabin with a Perfect View

We had such a wonderful time. The cabin has amazing views and is located perfectly between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg so it was never a hassle to go to either place. It was very private but I recommend going slow up the mountain road. The hot tub was so nice and the cabin was very clean. We will definitely be coming back soon.
