Close to a nice Restaurant and bar with gaming facility, which is closest neighbor. NO SMOKING INSIDE. Outside smoking only. Located just a few miles from Garden of the Gods, Fishing and boating at Gleno Jones lake, Stone Face, Bell Smith Springs, Burden Falls, High Knob ranch, Double M campground.

We really enjoyed our stay. Front porch was very nice to sit and relax after a long day of hiking. Heater worked well, it was getting cold at night still, but we were warm, and beds were comfy.

Location was good for access to the Garden of the Gods and other hiking areas in Shawnee National Forest. Not close to any grocery stores or restaurants. So - come prepared to cook in the well stock kitchen. Nice, quiet setting with good view from the front yard.

it was good to have you here on the farm and I hope you enjoyed getting out and seeing the sites would love for you to come back again sometime and yes living in the country is a little inconvenient nearest grocery store 11 miles away but quality has a good restaurant but it’s only open like Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday till three and Wednesday till three but closed Monday Tuesday, but hopefully the view and the things you got to see made up for it

Just Perfect

This is our favorite place to stay in Southern Illinois. The location makes it just perfect for what we need. My favorite part is the front porch where we watch the deer in the mornings and evenings. It is quiet and peaceful.
