Gorgeous and spacious "5 Star" Harbor Lakehouse on Cedar Creek Lake


‘5 Star’ Harbor is a delightfully unique property located on Cedar Creek Lake just a short drive from DFW. You will think you are seeing double when you enter in and realize that this home has twice the amenities. There are 2 fully stocked kitchens, 2 living areas, 2 lake view screened in porches, and 2 laundry areas. And, with 6 bedrooms and 5 full bathrooms, there is room for everyone. The space will comfortably accommodate up to 5 families and is ideal for reunions or other types of small group gatherings.

But, don’t get too comfortable in the house or you will miss out on the beauty and enjoyment of being at the lake. The sunrises are glorious, the fishing is abundant, and the fun on the water is spectacular. With 250 feet of waterfront, the sandy bottom, waist-deep water is the perfect location to play water volleyball, swim, or take a leisurely paddle board ride on the lake (life jackets provided for your safety). For extra fun, bring your own watercraft or rent one at a nearby marina.

Take a break from the sun and relax under a shade tree on our comfortable hammock for two. Bring your own Eno as there are plenty of trees to hang them from and don’t forget to bring that book you’ve been wanting to start.

For the competitive ones in your group, enjoy playing games, cards, corn hole, spike ball, or check out the Star Harbor Golf Club. This 9-hole course plays just under 2400 yards with minimal hazards, wide-open fairways, and basic, medium-sized greens. Work on your game by playing Star Harbor with one club, say a 7 iron, and work on mastering different types of shots with that club.

After grilling dinner (both a gas grill and charcoal grill are available), wind down the evening by sitting around a fire. Roast marshmallows in the firepit, tell stories, sing songs, and breathe in the beauty of God’s creation as you gaze into the night sky.

‘5 Star’ Harbor has something for everyone to enjoy, but don’t take our word for it, book now and come see for yourself!

We have dock that is available for our renters to tie up a boat to, however the boat lifts are not available for renters.

Ladies Getaway in Star Harbor

Our second stay at this fabulous property!!! Very spacious for our group of 10….plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, two kitchens, and we loved the two screened in porches! We have stayed all over Texas….this is our favorite!! We will be back !!!

Perfect stay!

We came into town for our annual Canton shopping trip and this property was absolutely perfect! The split floor plan worked perfect for our group. The views are incredible as well! We loved it so much, we already booked it for our trip next year!

Great for a family vacation

We met our children and grandchildren for a long weekend. Plenty of room, lots of fun in the water and in the yard with afternoon shade. Very accommodating host. We will be back!

Perfect for two families

We had the best stay! Two families fit perfectly, each had our own space, but plenty of room for us all to be together when we wanted to be. Beautiful home with lots to do! Exactly as listed! Very helpful hosts! Would definitely stay here again!

Extended Family Vacation

Home is spacious and very comfortable for a large group. Games, corn hole, and paddle boards were great. Home was well appointed and the 3 refrigerators reduced trips to the store. We hope to return again.

Amazing Lake Getaway!

This is an incredibly spacious Lakehouse with some of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Our group had an absolutely incredible time, bonded, and reconnected. If you are looking for a place for your friends to gather, or your family to come together, do not hesitate to rent this Lakehouse. it is even better than described!

A True Gem!

Our team has stayed here for the past two years for our annual retreat and we’ll book for next year asap! It’s fully stocked, offers double kitchens, plenty of bathrooms, loads of beds for a full house, and has a beautiful property with lake access. Simple cannot beat it! So grateful the owners share this home.

Amazing place!

Our small church group of ladies wanted to go to Canton and we found this gem of a place to stay 30 minutes away. There was 12 of us and everyone was so comfortable! Everything about this house is amazing; the view of the lake, the warmth of the decor, the abundance of beds for our small group, the communication between the owners. I could go on and on. I will definitely keep this place bookmarked for future stays and highly recommend this house for others!!

Wonderful home for a Family gathering

My family of 10 enjoyed Alissa & Jenny’s beautifully decorated, clean & spacious home in Star Harbor. They were so kind & easy to communicate with and they provide everything you need for a large group of guests. It was so nice to have 2 separate kitchens & living rooms. It was so relaxing to lounge in the screened outdoor patios. There were so many comfortable beds with comfortable white sheets. The house is updated & beautifully decorated with a serene lake view. It is very clean & has a great Air conditioner. We enjoyed relaxing in the hammock & playing in the large backyard. We felt safe & enjoyed our evening walks in the Star Harbor neighborhood. We are grateful to have stayed in such a wonderful home. Thank you!!

Great for our church group retreat

We were a group of 10 adults, so it was not easy to find a place that had enough bedrooms and bathrooms. The fact that this property is actually two homes attached to each other provided us with more than adequate space. The open floor plan was perfect for us with a long table that we could all sit around. Plenty of pots and pans, plenty of towels, just plenty of everything. We loved the inside and since we were staying inside, that was perfect. I will say that the outside of the house(s) deserves better attention. The grill in the backyard would have needed to be cleaned well before use. I hesitate to even mention that because we enjoyed the inside so much. Most in our group thought it was one of the nicest places we have ever used, so unless the outside appearance is important, don't let that put you off. The owners were very easy to work with, very accommodating when we had to change dates, and readily accessible when we needed something.

Family Outing

Excellent location within Star Harbor. Easy access from Dallas area. Fantastic setting with huge double lot views to the lake. Great outdoor space for games. Worked wonderfully for our large group of 8 adults and 7 kids under 12. With the two homes connected, kids had their own space to hang out play games from a well-stocked game closet. Large corn hole, spike ball, and other outdoor games were a nice surprise. Plenty of living space plus two large screened in porches. There are a large number of life vest and beach towels were much appreciated when we rented a boat. Large dock with plenty of space to tie up. The two kitchens are extremely well equipment for serving and meal preparation. All our meals were prepared at the house, and we filled the two large refrigerators, yet a 3rd large refrigerator on the porch was great for all the drinks and accessed without going inside. The amount of pantry items available for use was excellent. All switch labels and small signs really shorten the learning curve on home use as did the well-prepared guest manual. The beds were very comfortable and linens very nice. Plenty of soft towels. We could not have asked for a better place for our family.

My dad’s side of the family stayed here for the weekend and we all had a wonderful time! The house and the lot were very accommodating for our size family, our boat, and all our needs! The host was very communicative and kind. We will be back, for sure!

What a wonderful extended weekend!

This is an annual event for 8 adults..which means we have a lot of different lifestyles to accommodate, but this place marked off almost every single one and then some! Two separate living areas and kitchens made our annual Thanksgiving/Birthday weekend so much easier. We had Hallmark on one TV and football on the other TV. It was extremely clean and comfortable. And there was ample parking for 3 trucks and an SUV. The dock was wonderful for fishing as well. We hope it's available next year!

Perfect house for large family

This was our 2nd year staying here and it has become our favorite house! We love that it is actually 2 houses connected together. So there are 2 kitchens and 2 living rooms. Lots of space for everyone . Love everything about this place!! We will be back next year😎
