Beautiful view

The property was very nicely decorated and the view was wonderful. When we had an issue with the air conditioning in one room they were very responsive and were able to fix it within 24 hours. Overall the included concierge service was helpful with things such as arranging transportation, meal reservations and excursions. The neighborhood was very secure and a fairly quick drive to a grocery store and town but you do need a rental car and the hills are very steep. The reasons for not giving all 5 stars are just because we felt it was overpriced for what we received compared to other properties we have stayed at in Costa Rica. Airport shuttle is extra. The pool area is very nice but there are no umbrellas or awnings which makes it difficult to enjoy that area in the afternoon due to intense sun. Also they have a 6 night minimum which seems too long. Overall a beautiful property but difficult to justify high price point if we were going to come back to Costa Rica.

We had hoped that our willingness to be flexible on our 7 night minimum, and our desire to give your family a decorated Christmas tree to wake up to on Christmas morning would have shown you our commitment to the experience we want all of our clients to have at our home, Casa del Mar. We truly strive for a “5 Star” experience. Thank you, also, for your input regarding our pricing structure. We are consistently accessing the market in our area of luxury properties, offering like views and amenities, so your feedback was timely to say the least; especially, as we head into the “high season” for renting next year.
