We enjoyed two weeks as a family staying at this beautiful property which is set in truly stunning grounds. Inside, the house was spotlessly clean and comfortably accommodated our family (4 adults and 2 children). Every room is beautifully decorated and has wonderful views out over the very well kept garden. The lower floor bedrooms even open out onto their own private terrace.Outside, the house has a large covered terrace area (with BBQ) which looks out over a vast wooded garden and a field of vines in the distance. We enjoyed dining out on it everyday of our stay. There is a separate pool area with a pool house with seating and we spent many a happy day here with our children who loved playing in the pool! We also enjoyed the boule court and there were some very competitive family tournaments played! Despite feeling like you are in a remote setting high in the mountains, the property is only a short 5 minute drive / 35 minute walk from the town or La Garde Freinet, which is a lovely bustling town with nice shops, galleries, bakery, bar and restaurants. The hosts were fantastic, incredibly responsive and couldn’t do enough to ensure we enjoyed our stay. We had some high winds on our first few days which led to an issue with the internet. As soon as we let our host know, they immediately sourced a temporary solution and the problem was rectified in no time at all. We would highly recommend staying at the property and will definitely be returning in the future.
