Enchanted Rock is one of the most beloved natural landmarks while staying in Fredericksburg lodging and the entire TX hill country; nobody has a better view of this great landmark than guests of Rockview Cabins. Enchanted Rock is a huge pink granite pluton rock formation located about 15 miles north of Fredericksburg. The great rock covers around 640 acres and stands about 425 feet above the surrounding land.
The charming private cabins at Rockview Cabins were built to take advantage of the great view as all cabins are built to face the famous rock. Each includes a front porch, just perfect for swinging on the porch swing and taking in an unforgettable sunset. Inside the cabins, you are sure to appreciate all the attention to detail.
Cabin Number 2 offers a king size bed in the spacious open living area. You will surely appreciate the full kitchen and dinette as well. The cabin offers a Smart TV with satellite selections. You will also enjoy a large private bathroom with a whirlpool tub with overhead rain shower head.
Although Rockview Cabins offer the greatest of country quiet and Hill Country views, these great cabins are located less than 20 minutes from downtown Fredericksburg's shops, restaurants, galleries and wineries. They are the perfect getaway for a couple looking for some time away from city life; or rent all the cabins and create a reunion of family or friends! First Trip to Fredericksburg - Loved It!

This was our first visit to Fredericksburg, and we will be returning. We didn't want to stay in town. We wanted a more remote location and the Rockview Cabins were perfect. So quiet and serene with a fabulous view of Enchanted Rock. The hummingbird feeders welcomed a lot of hummers, which I love. I always bring my own washcloths for my face, but they provide washcloths for removing your makeup! It was little touches like this that were so nice. Plenty of towels, soft soap in the bathroom instead of bars, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion (I did not expect that at a cabin). We had nightly visitors from the cows on the ranch and deer at the deer feeder. The only two things I would say need improvement would be a new mattress (it is super soft) and provide a toaster. It was a fabulous place to stay. I didn't want to leave.

Rockview Cabins

I love the quiet and peacefulness of Rockview Cabins. This was our second time staying here and we love it, the prices have increased though which isn't good. We didn't see any deer come up to eat this time. We may be coming back in a year of so if the price doesn't increase too much.

Excellent Fredericksburg Experience

If you are looking for a quiet, remote get-away, this is the place for you. The four cabins each have a front porch view of Enchanted Rock. The night sky is loaded with stars. The cabin interior was beautiful, all appliances were in excellent working order - everything functioned as it should. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
