This property suited us very well, although it's layout is a bit "cut up." We were a group of 11 seniors. The pools was clean and in excellent condition, the house was very clean and well-appointed, the kitchen also well-provisioned. The garden was suffering from the prolonged drought and could use some renovation. But we enjoyed our visit immensely. The location is fabulous.

Family vacation in the Dordogne

A remarkable property in a magnificent region of France. The Maison Kubrick is truly a premium rental set in a private walled park in the wonderful village of Domme. The house is beautiful and spacious and is well-equipped. The views from the edge of the garden and of the property itself are truly memorable. A perfect place for a family vacation.

Truly lovely and special stay at a beautiful house in a beautiful village

The house was even beyond what we expected from the listing, and was a comfortable, beautiful and special place to spend a week as a family. We loved exploring Domme and the surrounding area as well as hanging out at home, and would quickly return to Domme and this property. Communication and any support needed from property management was easy and fast. We have high standards for home rentals and all of our expectations were met. Highly recommend.

Location, location, location

This elegant, but relaxed house was a joy to stay in. Packed with art work and interior designed, the pictures can’t capture how lovely this house is. It has a very well equipped kitchen and lots of space to spread out. The views from the end of the magnificent garden are simply stunning. It is in the centre of Domme literally steps from shops and cafes. We went in a rainy October but this didn’t matter as the house was great to be in and the pool was heated. We love this area of France and the many places to visit within a short drive. We visited Beynac, Sarlat and the caves beneath the town but most of all enjoyed walking the historic streets of Domme.

A wonderful week in the heart of the Domme

What a fantastic place to stay, by far the best in all that our group have visited over the years. The Kubrick home is homely and spacious, with excellent facilities and in a fantastic location right in the heart of the village of Domme with all its facilities, yet with a peaceful and countryside-facing location. You therefore benefit from having all important amenities within a 5-min walk, yet the quiet and space usually associated with remote properties. The view from the end of the garden is incredible and a great place to sit and watch the sun go down over a glass of wine! The pool is a great size and there's plenty of outside space to relax, not to mention a great-sized sunken courtyard to enjoy alfresco dining. All rooms are well equipped, many with beautiful views. The history associated with the house and its famous owners only adds to the experience, not to mention the fantastic paintings and sketches all around the house produced by Christiane Kubrick. Its a real privilege and wonderful experience to stay there, highly recommended!

Maison très agréable et idéalement située dans la bastide de Domme, avec un point de vue magnifique sur la vallée de la Dordogne.Les équipements présents, notamment la piscine chauffée et le jardin ont rendu le séjour extrêmement plaisant. Je recommande vivement cette maison pour des séjour en famille ou entre amis.

I highly recommend

I have been to France 14 times organizing cycling trips with my friends. This was the best. The bedrooms, pool, kitchen, multiple large gathering seating areas, art, furniture, yard, 30 second walk to town, quiet, private......it was exceptional.
