Cozy cabin with beautiful view of the lake. It was clean and had everything we needed. The area was quiet and great for relaxing. Would definitely stay again.
This lakefront House exceeded my expectations! It is even more beautiful in person. The owner went above and beyond to make sure myself and my daughter were comfortable and taken care of; even checking in by phone. All services are arranged for you like plowing and cleaning off the decks. Spectacular views in a warm comfy house with a fireplace.

Allison was a gem to host. She left the house about as clean as you can. She was a pleasure to deal with and Inwould host her again without question.
We really enjoyed our 4 night stay. The house was large and the very comfortable. It had a lot of thoughtful details that you don't always see in home rentals, such as plenty of towels, paper products, everything you need in the kitchen. The bed in the master bedroom was one of the most comfortable we've ever slept on in a rental house. The host was quick to answer questions. We would definitely recommend this property.

We are so happy you enjoyed your stay. We hope you come back again soon.
Lovely property overlooking the lake. The rooms were all a nice size and the beds were comfy. One hour drive to Stowe along scenic roads. The owners were so pleasant and attentive. Enjoyed our stay immensely!
The spacious house on Curtis Pond was a perfect quiet getaway vacation spot. We enjoyed a peaceful week of kayaking, fishing and family time. The location is really beautiful and Toni was very helpful recommending nearby places to explore
Cozy cabin with a spectacular view over pond in adorable village. Owners even supplied firewood for the stove that kept us warm during a very cold snap!
Very surprised at how spacious this property was.Perfect layout for family with children and Curtis Pond is breath taking.Saw a beaver every morning as the crew slept and I think the loon was following me around. Thanks Toni!!!

I am so glad you and your family were able to enjoy your time. It truly is a piece of paradise up there. Please feel free to visit again!
Toni was a wonderful host. There’s everything and more in the cabin including kitchen supplies, kayak, fireplace, firewood, fishing rod. It’s quiet and clean and locates in the center of Vermont. I would highly recommend the place when visiting Vermont
The house was very comfortable and had all the necessary items for our stay. We cooked dinner in the kitchen a few nights without any issues. It is out in the woods with a spectacular view of the lake. Short drive to Montpellier which is a charming town. We even took a longer drive to Stowe to eat at restaurants there. It was a wonderful, chill vacation spot
This cabin is somehow more wonderful than it even appears online! Lakeside views were gorgeous during peak foliage time. Everything you could need or want. Wind storm took out the power very briefly and the owners were very prompt responding to inquiries, even as they were facing a hurricane in Florida. Wish we could have stayed forever ❤️
Large, typical family cottage that has evolved and been renovated over the years. It's like being at my aunt's cottage. Mismatched dishes, lots of board games available, perfect cottage for a family vacation. Very quiet (no neighbors on one side), the lake accessible by dock is just down the stairs. Loon calls guaranteed!
Lovely, cozy rustic cabin overlooking beautiful Curtis Pond. Amazing views and a private dock with kyaks for exploring the lake. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return.
Only minuses are no closet space and no dish washer. But overall for us, this was minor compared to how wonderful our experince was. Also, Tom and Toni were great and available to help.
We loved staying at this home! It is recently refinished, with a great fire stove and ample room for 4 adults. The house in tucked away on a hill over looking a beautiful, large pond. We had the pleasure of watching sun and full moon rise over the pond during Autumn, and we will never forget it! The kayaks and fire pit were great fun too. The home is centrally located in Vermont with easy access to highways and routes to anywhere you’d want to go during the year. We’d absolutely love to return some day. Thank you!

We are so glad you enjoyed your time up here! It is truest a blessing to share with others! Please come back again.
Property was just as described.
Hosts were responsive and easy to communicate with.
They supplied us with many recommendations for outdoor activities and day trips along with some quick instruction regarding the wood stove.
The property was fantastic.
Particularly enjoyed being a few hundred yards from Calais trail.
Home was heated well by wood stove. Enough to have turned off the baseboard electric heaters.
Have stayed at other properties in the summer and this was our first winter stay.
The view from the house was beautiful and we will likely come back to enjoy the waterfront location again this summer.
We have fallen in love with this community and hope to one day find a property to call our own.
Until then, happy to spend our vacations at this wonderful property.

Fixer upper
So many unfinished projects. Loose material laying around in bathroom, old dock propped up on new deck, great toe catcher! Thankfully only one of us caught the end of it! Glasses were limited in the kitchen, they might want to consider wine glasses, or real glass rather than big blue plastic glasses. I see where they're going with the project, its just time to finish it up!

The house was built in the early 1900s yes it is a fixer-upper everything was remodeled but the kitchen. We are also charging less than 50% of what other rentals are in the area to compensate for the kitchen. We do have wine glasses I’m not sure if they broke. I will have my husband address the dock sorry that happened.
“Dad’s Dream” is everything you could want and hope for in a rental. Quiet, clean, awe aspiring. The pictures do justify how great this listing is, it’s very accommodating, and close to some very great places of interest. The place is actually much more spacious than you would think. I had a party of 7 with 5 large people and we never felt cramped up. The owners are forth I have and responsive, the neighbors are polite and informative. You will not be disappointed.
My fiance and I had the best time in this rental property. It was clean and very homey. Cute decorations all around. An amazingly comfortable couch as well as 2 king size beds with beautiful views of the water. We loved all the natural light the house has. The wood burning stove was such a bonus. And was overall a very relaxing vacation. The property owner was very kind and had great communication! Will deff be staying again!
