Our Happy Place will make you happy too! Guaranteed to leave your troubles behind! Our 3 bedroom-2 bath home offers plenty of space for gathering of family and friends. With master on main that overlooks the lake and 2 bedrooms on 2nd level; one overlooks the lake, and the 2nd one has a beautiful view of our magical woods. All 3 bedrooms feature King size beds. The ground floor bath has amazing shower for two, and the 2nd floor bath has an oversized tub/shower with glass doors. The living space has an open airy layout, completely renovated with views of lake, mountains, and woods. Our Happy Place is a wonderful home that sits on 100 feet of beautiful Lake Chatuge shoreline. We have a large cozy private den with sofa/pull-out bed, with a Samsung flat screen TV that offers Netflix, You Tube TV, and Amazon Prime. High Speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the home and most of the property. This family home has beautiful views of Lake Chatuge from most every room, swim dock with swim ladder, gentle easy walk to lake, and an additional covered boat dock with power and water-bring your boat/jet ski and enjoy water sports and cruising the lake (or rent one from 3 nearby facilities). We also have a camp-fire pit for evening marshmallow toasting-s'mores over the fire pit will delight the kids (including the one inside you).
The main living area has a fully equipped kitchen with stainless double refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and washer and dryer just off the kitchen. The living room has a vented wood-stove with gas logs, a fantastic oversized deck off the living /dining room with outdoor dining and sitting areas, and propane barbecue grill. Our Happy Place comes with fresh towels and beds are made up with fresh linens, colorful spreads, and plenty of cozy blankets. Our dedicated cleaning crew has the home clean and ready before your visit and does the cleaning after your stay.
Our Happy Place is inside Hiawassee City limits, yet still very safe and peaceful, away from busy roads. Wake up to coffee on the covered porch and watch the magical mists on the water, and later be captured by the evening sunset on the swim dock-or on our Adirondack chairs around the fire pit. Come make memories at our Happy Place. Take a try at landing a fish or two-there is wonderful fishing right off of our docks, surrounded by the beautiful waters of Lake Chatuge. Close the day with an amazing meal grilled and served outside on the deck before you head to the fire pit for desert and great conversation sitting by the fire fire-wood provided by owner. Your pet is welcome, we understand they are part of your family and would not want to leave them behind-there is a small additional pet fee.

There is lots to do here on Lake Chatuge, great restaurants (even by boat if you so desire), movie theaters, bowling allies, antique shops, and the Ga Mountain Fair/Anderson Music Hall are all nearby. If you are up for an adventure, you can take a trip up to the top of nearby Bell Mountain for a breathtaking view of the lake and surrounding mountains. Brass-town Bald is 20 mins away with a lookout point where you can see three states-don’t miss the incredible video show in the theatre. We have a modern Ingle’s Superstore 5 mins away for all your grocery, refreshment, and gas needs, and just down the road is one of the best fruit & vegetable stands in North Ga.

Boundary Waters Marina, The Ridges Resort and Marina, and Young Harris Water-sports offer daily watercraft rentals to make your stay a grand water adventure-we have noodles, floating rafts, and water toys galore in the dock box on the swim dock.
