LAKEFRONT with Breathtaking Views of Lake Chatuge and Blue Ridge Mountains!

Three bedrooms include three queen beds, plus 2 twin beds and one sleeper sofa. sleeps 8 total, 3 full baths, gas log fireplaces upstairs and down, dining room and living room upstairs, large den and game room with ping pong and pool tables downstairs, fully equipped large kitchen, dishwasher, oven, microwave, coffeemaker, 20' x20' screen room and full house length balcony overlooking lake, covered parking, covered picnic area with grill, huge gently sloping lawn with fieldstone firepit by the lake and dock access, all with lots of trees and shade.
A boat dock for your use.
Please note: The TVA lowers the levels of Lake Chatuge in the Fall and Winter so in those months you would not be able to have a boat at the dock. The TVA lowers the water level beginning the end of August and brings the water level back up in the Spring. You can still enjoy the dock ... just not put a boat in at the dock.

It is a beautiful property in a great location. There is a screened in porch overlooking the lake to sit and watch the sunset. Great access to Hiawassee and the surrounding area.

This was a beautiful location. Beautiful views of Lake Chateau with easy access to walk to lake and fish. Nice location in a quiet neighborhood. Close to town. Great communication with host. No issues at property. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Plenty of space.

reat time with family. there is a shallow water dock that is perfect for small children swimming. there is a dock in deeper water about 100 yards away we had access to for boat. great time

This house was extremely clean. well maintained no smells whatsoever. Lots of towels great parking ! Overall it just was a good of experience.The host was very gracious could not ask for a better place. We will be staying with them every time we go to Hiawassee from now on and the view is amazing!!!!!

Great stay in Hiawassee

We had a lovely stay. The views from the dock are outstanding. Plenty of room in the house for 4 adults and 3 kids to spread out. We enjoyed the firepit and swam off the dock. House in convenient to everything downtown and Bell Mountain.

Perfect place for family!

This property has fantastic outdoor and indoor space and accommodations for a family gathering! The backyard is so large that our adult kids bought a volleyball set for early evening volleball games and we all loved the bonfires in the fire pit too! The sunsets were so beautiful. Beautiful lake house

We absolutely loved this lake house. We will return! It was a home away from home with all the necessities and then some. The location and view were perfect! I can only imagine how much fun this would be during the summer. The downstairs was nice for my teens to hang out in. If this place had a hot tub it was be the cherry on top!

High school fishing tournament

Here for my sons high school fishing tournament. It was very convenient to boat ramp that we use. Nice clean house. Nice view of lake. Extremely nice host (Buck) Would 100% stay there again.

Great Space

We really enjoyed our stay! The bedrooms and overall space was perfect for our family. We had a lot of cloudy, somewhat rainy days so we took full advantage of the screened in porch and downstairs recreation area. The kids (and adults) enjoyed jumping off the dock and playing in the spacious yard. Buck was so wonderful and very helpful in making sure our stay was perfect. We hope to return here next year!

Mr. Buck is the Best!

Buck greets you at the door and walks you through the things you need to know during your visit. True southern hospitality. Sitting on the back porch watching the sunsets was a great way to end each day. We would love to return for another visit.

great place, but the stairs to go to the basement are really dangerous for the kids and adults' too if not carefully going downs, one of kit got injure the second day. beside that great place

Good Family Time

It was very clean. Buck was very nice and has done some good work there on the house. It was good to have that safety screen at the top of the staircase since we had a 2 year old. The kids enjoyed the rec room a lot and had plenty of room. The neighbors were friendly, too.

Perfect Family Lakehouse

This house was perfect for our family of 4 to enjoy a relaxing and fun long weekend. My small children loved walking right out into the lake to play. Convenient location to rent a boat and jet skis. My kids didn’t want to leave. I certainly didn’t.

Rest and recharge - Exactly what was needed

This vacation was just what was needed to allow for rest and recharge for my big family. The house was perfect for all 7 of my kids from the 3 college age all the way down to our 7 month old. The property offered amazing views and lots of space to run and play, the house was a great fit for a large family and the area was beautiful over the Thanksgiving week and allowed for excursions out to mountain trails and waterfalls. The booking process was simple and the property owner was a delight to work with from day 1. I highly recommend this property and look forward to staying there in the future.

Wonderful location!

We really enjoyed our stay over the Labor Day weekend. We made use of all three game tables! Family fun was had by all. the facility is very well appointed and the screened in porch was great to hang out in. The only issues we had were getting the bass boat in and out, but that was due to TVA letting the lake down, and the house needs steps down from the deck to the yard. We really enjoyed the Ducks, and.. I hope it was ok, we picked 6 apples and made an apple crisp! We will definitely return. thanks Kim Parkerson

Hiawassee Hiatus

Overall very good to excellent-considering staying here again. Mid century modern home with some recent improvements. Property is on a shallow cove formed by a long private peninsula jutting into the lake- fishing off the point restricted to guests of this property. Sunsets are indeed fabulous. Would be a great place for kids! Buck is friendly, capable and seemingly always accessible. Only (minor) negatives: Ping pong table is miniature and TV package didn't carry Bally Sports to watch the Braves.
