Great sunsets from the porch, a perfect setting for grilling out and enjoying a Jack & Coke. Plenty of parking. Large yard. A great place to have a long weekend to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Great place

We were in town for the Oak Barrel half marathon. The property was very convenient, clean, well maintained and made the trip fun and enjoyable. It suited all needs. Also very grateful for the quick response and helpfulness of the host!

Great location. Close to town, but very private and quiet. Clean, and comfortable. The host was helpful and quick to respond. There’s no television in the bedrooms, which was fine with me, but my fiancé likes to watch television while in bed. We were very pleased with our stay.

JD Distillery Visit

Great location. Very quiet. Accommodations were as listed and the space was comfortable. The host had lots of helpful items in the kitchen and left water for us in the fridge. Recommend!

Awesome

This was located conveniently to explore the lynchburg Tennessee and have a great experience with little traveling. Then come back to a nice cozy stay with a great country view and environment. Close to lake also for going fishing. Will surely stay there again when I go again and recommend it highly. See for the next big squire member event.

Perfect place!

This was such a perfect stay. The host was fabulous. Very proactive. Checked on us and gave great recommendations on where to go. We were also able to get a discount at restaurants because we were staying at our hosts property. It was a very short drive to the town square. The property was well maintained and the landscaping was beautiful. I would stay again and have already recommended to friends!

Ms. Cindy was very sweet and kind, and I appreciated that she provided her cell number and was willing to be available if we needed anything. That said, there were several issues that made a longer stay less comfortable.The Wi-Fi was not working during our stay, despite being listed as an amenity. There was no extra toilet paper beyond the roll already provided in each bathroom. The listing indicates a washer and dryer, but if there was one on the property, it was behind a door marked “Private,” so it wasn’t available for our use. There were also no hangers, no closet space, and no available dresser space for clothing.The bed in the second bedroom to the left of the front door was extremely soft and had virtually no firmness or support. It honestly felt like sleeping in quicksand you sink into it rather than feeling supported.One of the clean washcloths had a strong, unpleasant smell, so I ended up rewashing my face and using paper towels to dry it.None of these issues individually were a huge deal we picked up the little things we needed at Dollar General but when you’re staying several days, they add up.I think this would be better suited for a short 1–2 night stay. For a longer stay, I would recommend looking elsewhere until some of these amenities and the rental are updated.Ms. Cindy herself was lovely; my concerns are with the condition, comfort, and functionality of the rental rather than the host.

Big spiders!!

From the beginning it was uncomfortable, The owner was in the house when we arrived, she said she didn't know we were coming. All of her personal items are all over the house, the garage/laundry room were full of clothes and shoes and furniture, some of the furniture disappeared during our stay, which means she came in the house while we were gone. Which made us a bit uncomfortable knowing someone was in there with our stuff. There were 7 brown recluse spiders, one found crawling on the bed, one on the floor beside the bed and the rest in the shower and bathroom. The refrigerator and cabinets are full of opened and some expired foods, and medication. The house was nice but smelled like animals, the furniture was nice, but not practical or comfortable enough to relax and watch TV. Beds are both small. We were looking for a nice place to stay that wasn't far from home for a weekend getaway. We will not be renting this again, it definitely was not worth the price we paid.
