Ironwood Country Club Desert Getaway - perfect for hosting visiting family!

This beautiful condo is the perfect place if you enjoy hosting family and friends during your stay in the desert! This is a 3 bedroom, 3 bath, lovely home that sleeps 8 comfortably and is perfect for larger family gatherings around the holidays! It is bright, modern and artsy, a perfect place to hang with family and friends while enjoying our beautiful desert and all it has to offer! This unit has a spacious, open floor plan with large sliding doors that open up onto the back patio, and is just a few steps to the pool and jacuzzi! Surrounded by green grass, sky high palm trees and flowers galore! A desert paradise situated at the foot of the Santa Rosa Mountain range, a real Palm Springs dream vacation! The motif and furnishings are super comfy, just like home, and is stocked with all kinds of extra's, including a guitar and a large telescope for star gazing!

Ironwood is only minutes from the prestigious El Paseo, a mecca of top designer shops and oodles of the finest dining experiences to be explored. The world renown McCallum Theatre where top headline names come to perform and sing, is less then 6 minutes away, and you are just a hop skip and a jump (20 minutes) from Palm Springs, where Hollywood celebrities come to holiday in between movie shoots, and also where the annual National Film Festival is held! Every year in the spring, thousands of people come from all over the world to hear top music artists at the Coachella fest, just 20 minutes away from Ironwood (a shuttle pick up and drop off is just 5 minutes away in the Westfield Mall shopping center parking lot). And the Tennis Gardens, home of the BNP Paribas Championship tennis tour is just 10 minutes down the road! And that is just our local attractions!

For a really great day excursion, we are only an hour away from Joshua Tree National Monument (rock climbing and hiking), an hour from Temecula (vineyards and wine tasting), 2 hours from Los Angeles, New Port, Laguna and San Diego! There is so, so, so much to do here because we are so centrally located! Oh and just 20 minutes from the Palm Springs airport!

And not to forget all of our own natural trails for bike riding, walking and hiking all over the desert floor and mountain ranges. There are golf courses everywhere you turn, so if you opt out of purchasing a "special guest" golf package (optional for renters visiting a month or more, ask me) no need to be concerned, there are wonderful public courses as close as 1 mile away, and my favorite is Desert Willow, just 10 minutes down the road.

And for a little extra adventure for licensed drivers, I have 2 golf carts I offer as an option to rent during your stay with us. Because Palm Desert is a pilot golf cart city, it was designed to get around virtually anywhere and everywhere on a golf cart! So for a lot of fun and convenience too, consider renting and taking the cart to El Paseo for a day of shopping and dining, or toodle around the club to and from the pool and your families condo, or go to coffee in the morning at The Blue Ember (one of my favorite secret places for breakfast) in Rancho Mirage. Ask me for paths and directions, its really quite simple with a few rules of thumb, you wont want to drive a regular car around town again!

And with this beautiful condo, you can expect top notch customer service! I have lived here since 1964! That is over 55 years! I know this desert inside and out, and I love our desert, and I love making sure my guests have the best time ever and leave loving it the same way I do! If there is a problem, I insist you call me immediately. I don't want to hear about something as you are leaving, because I want to make right any problem that may arise so that your holiday is everything you hoped it would be, and better.
