Pond Suite at Chateau Valhalla

The Chateau sits on 30 private acres 600 feet above the City of Selah,  with a 360 degree view of the Valley plus Mt. Adams and Mt. Rainier. Relax by the pool or on the covered private patio,  gaze across the orchards and vineyards as the sunsets. Bring your camera to take pictures of the breath taking scenery and sunsets. Then take a walk around the pond or hike the local trails, all this... only minutes from Town. Each Suite has its own private bath, walk in closet and picture window to take in the sweeping views,  allowing just 2 Guests per suite. Each suite has a Smart TV, microwave, coffee pot, herbal teas, throw blanket and mini-fridge. There is a Dining-Room (Shared), Kitchen (Shared), Living room (Shared), Theater Room (Shared), Patio (Shared) 1 Pool (Shared) Wi-Fi. We have a full kitchen plus 3 outdoor BBQ if you would like to stay in to dine at the Chateau.

Just lovely!

We very much enjoyed our time at Château Valhalla. The views are incredible. The swimming pool was very refreshing at the end of the day. We were able to barbecue and relax by the pool. The environment was peaceful and quiet. A lovely place for couple time or even for a family stay.

Beautiful property with stunning views.

We had a great stay. The price point was very good. The property suited our needs which was a clean room and a pool to relax after a long drive. I cannot speak to the shared spaces that are mentioned in the advertisement since we did not utilize them nor were they pointed out by the host.

Short stay

Very easy process reserving and checking in. Chuck was a great host and made himself available to us if we needed anything or had questions. Room was nice and quiet. Clean overall, but there were beverages left in the mini fridge used coffee pod in the coffee maker and trash in the bathroom which is why I scored less then perfect on cleanliness. Had a great trip

Lovely view

Chateau Vahalla is a lovely property, Chuck was friendly. Our room was good value. We would of enjoyed our stay that much more if there wasn't piped in music throughout the house. You could turn it off in your room but we could still hear it. The other thing that stood out as needing possible improvement was since there are no televisions (which was fine with us) we would of liked some good reading lamps next to the bed. Also, when trying to enjoy sitting outside there was no place to get out of the sun, so an umbrella would be nice. We also felt like the pool was a selling point for us but didn't feel like they really wanted you to use it and if that's the case it should be stated. Granted it was very windy the day before and the pool cover had blown off and debris had blown in, even one of the chairs needed to be retrieved from the bottom of the pool, but it seemed like maintenance hadn't been done on the pool in a while. We realize Chuck has a lot on his plate to take care of on the property!

Hi Nicola, I'm glad you enjoyed the property. Also, thank you for the feedback. I'm new to doing this by myself so I've got areas to improve on. I'll make sure the music is turned off on the entire side of the house guests are staying at. I also added another umbrella at the pool and am looking into lamps for the rooms. I'm sorry about the pool as well. Being on top of the hill it can be tough to keep the pool clean when the wind is really blowing. Thanks again for the feedback and for staying with me.

Valhalla Getaway

Cool house at a great location. Beautiful sunrise and sunset views. The owner (Chuck) was super helpful and friendly. The room is large with a clean bathroom and big walk-in closet. The pool was a fun extra.

There is just no other property in the valley that is this conventionally located, has this level of privacy we offer or has a view like the Chateau.

What makes this property unique

Location, Privacy, View, the grounds with a 2 million gallon pond that has an island. The home was designed with comfort and convenience in mind there are no stairs or steps any where.
