Welcome to Leonidas villa, a villa which is ideal to accommodate families to 8 persons.

Enjoy your vacations with comfort and calmness in 200 m2 indoor and in two big terraces of 20 m2 each one with mountain, sea view and heated swimming pool

In our 2 gardens of 200 m2 with lawn and trees, you can relax on the sun loungers while your children could play happily in the fenced area of the garden, by enjoying your drink or even you can have a barbeque.

The villa Leonidas has a fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, microwave, free wi-fi internet, air conditioning in all rooms, TV, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, washing machine, 2 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms, living room, fireplace, iron for clothes , 1 oven inside the house and one outside.

Beautiful villa, special location

The villa was excellent, plenty of space, the area around the pool was perfect. Pitsidia is a small village but with some excellent restaurants. George was on hand immediately for the few minor issues. Just a small note for British visitors, Satellite Tv is mainly German. Would definitely recommend this Villa

Spacious, clean, everything needed provided. Great location for exploring Matala and area

We had a week at Villa Leonidas in August. Pitsidia is a small and pleasant town with about a dozen resturants, butchers, small supermarket and a great bakery. Lots more lovely resturants in the surrounding area. Komos beach about 1.5km. Only 3km to Matatla and other beaches close by. We found south Crete very relaxed and not too crowded...would recommend Villa Leonidas to groups looking for a large villa with 4 bedrooms (3 x double, 1 x twin) and a great pool.

Wonderful holiday in Pitsidia

We spent 11 days in Villa Leonidas and our stay was very comfortable, we had enough privacy, enjoyed the beautiful swimming pool and the perfect customer service provided by Giorgo and Jana - they are both very friendly and provided us with many tips for travelling, restaurants and other attractions. So definitely worth the price, I can recommend this property to you.

Very friendly and helpful even with passengers

We where passing by and our car got stuck in a sandpit nearby and very gently Leonidas offered us a pull with his car. So we could enjoy the incredible beach of kommos. Thanks a lot..

Very nice villa with good location.

Nice Villa with very comfortable beds and with a nice and large Pool, good location. The Villa is 2 km from the nearest beach Comos Beach. If it’s windy, the beach in Matala is recommended, there is slightly more sheltered. Nice and kind welcome by George. Like to come back another time.

Schönes Haus mit Mängeln

Das Haus ist schön, sehr geräumig und wir hatten mit unserer fünfköpfigen Familie ausreichend Platz. Auch für acht Personen wäre es kein Problem gewesen. Die Raumaufteilung ist wunderbar, ebenso der Außenbereich mit dem Pool. Alles entspricht der Darstellung auf den Fotos. Leider gibt es doch gravierende Hygienemängel in den beiden Bädern und in der Küche. Rund um die Dunstabzugshaube klebt uraltes Fett. Auch in den Schubladen und Besteckkästen klebt und bröselt es überall. Schlimmer noch die beiden Bäder. Die Klobürste im kleinen Bad ein Bild des Grauens. Im großen Bad drückt sich bei jedem Duschen Wasser und Schaum und wer weiß sonst noch was aus dem Bodenabfluss in der Mitte des Raumes. Darüber hinaus ist vieles nicht fachmännisch verarbeitet worden. Beispiel Zimmertüren aus Holz. Die sind alle verzogen, so dass man die Türen nur mit großer Kraft öffnen und schließen kann und dabei befürchten muss, die Türklinke herauszureißen. Die Verkleidung des Heizkörper in der Küche fällt bei leichter Berührung einfach herunter. Brause und Haltestangen in den Dusche sitzen locker und wacklig und man hat Angst beim kleinsten Kontakt geht etwas kaputt. Deckenbeleuchtung flackert. Kabel hängen lose. Normalerweise Alles kein Problem für uns, wir sind im Süden und haben Urlaub ... Als aber eine Poollampe aus ihrer Halterung gebrochen ist, stand der Vermieter sofort auf der Matte. Mit einer Rechnung über 140 Euro für eine neue Lampe, obwohl die alte noch ging. Er war unerbittlich und hat auch gleich gedroht die Polizei zu rufen. Einen Beweis, dass tatsächlich wir es waren, hatte er nicht. Wir haben gezahlt, weil er vermutlich sonst das Wasser aus dem Pool gelassen hätte oder sonst eine Schikane. Als er das Geld hatte, hat er uns sogar noch zu einem Glas Wein eingeladen (Er wohnt direkt nebenan) und zum Abschied noch zwei Flaschen Olivenöl und eine Flasche Raki geschenkt. Was soll man sagen!?

casa top!

15 giorni fantastici! George il padrone di casa è una persona adorabile che ci ha accolti con frutta fresca ed una bottiglia di vino. Sempre disponibile a risolvere qualunque eventuale problema in tempi rapidissimi, ospitale e discreto ha contribuito a rendere piacevolissimo il nostro soggiorno. La casa è molto grande, noi eravamo due famiglie, 8 persone in tutto e avevamo ampio spazio per le esigenze di ognuno senza darci fastidio. La piscina è una meraviglia, molto curata (George ogni sera tardi passava a controllare i livelli di cloro e a pulire eventualmente il fondo). Molto carino il giardinetto dietro la cucina dove noi facevamo colazione e cenavamo usando anche il barbecue attrezzato.A 2 minuti la bellissima spiaggia di kommos dove ombrellone e sdraio costano 2 euro l'uno al giorno. A 5 minuti di macchina il delizioso paesino di Matala con un ampia scelta di taverne per cenare. Unico piccolo neo il bagnetto del piano terra molto piccolo e da attrezzare un pò meglio. Nel complesso una casa magnifica. Caldamente consigliata!!!

Very good

The house si very confortable and we spent a good holiday in pitsidia. George is very Kind and there are a lot of beaches near this house. South of crete si very beautiful and we loved to stay there Only one little problem we found with dishwasher but i ma sue that George had already solved it. Very good location ...very good holiday. thank you George

Big house, beautiful swimming pool and nice people

The house was very big, even 15 people have enough space there. There were many places to relax or to stay alone with privacy. We were family with children and the house and surroundings was perfect for the safety and comfort. The owners were helpful and nice people and we had a good time with them. The villa had great location, near to the village, in calm area. To walk to Kommos beach took about 15 min. For the money definitely good choice, we enjoyed and we will come again.

Easy access to Komos beach by walk, car or bicycles. Ideal to accommodate families to 8 person and suitable for families with children. The last villa on the way to the Kommos beach. Nic sea view and sun set times. Beauitiful renovated area of large swimming pool. One small swimming pool for the toddlers and children.
Comfortable and calm environment.
Warm and helpful owner. I am ready to help you with anything you need (renting cars, renting canoe, order massages to the house etc.)

What makes this property unique

Pitsidia is a village located in municipality of Phaistos, consisting by 650 residents. It is built at an altitude of 80 meters , a short distance from the sea of Messara bay, only 1km from Komo beach and 3km from Matala beach.

The main occupations of the residents are tourism, agriculture (olive oil, grape growing, wine production), farming and fisheries. In the village run kindergarten and primary school, pharmacy, super markets, coffee shops and restaurants / taverns.

Also, in Pitsidia there is a horse riding center which organizes excursions to several nearby beaches and other areas like Agiofarago etc.
