A week in paradise
We heartily recommend choosing Le Dos de Paradis with Dominique as your host in Guadeloupe.Le Dos de Paradis was the perfect place to spend our first week in Guadeloupe. The location is on the coast not far from the airport and can allow a day trip to almost any destination in Guadeloupe. The private neighborhood is quiet and secure. There is a commercial area with a few small restaurants and a grocery within walking distance.The suite is quite private and comfortable on the second floor, with a sitting room in the front overlooking the garden and the sea. The view is lovely.Best of all, Dominique is an attentive and welcoming host. We quickly felt at ease, enjoying conversation with her in the garden among the flowers and the many birds. She offers a breakfast, which we opted for each morning. Breakfast with Dominique was one of the highlights of each day!For the day of the Mardi Gras parade, Dominique volunteered to drive us into the city, then picked us up again, so we did not have to deal with parking and the traffic.
