Fisherman's house in the heart of the village of wissant

The Yvonne villa was originally two fishermen's houses and was merged into a single 150m2 villa. It consists of two staircases and two separate spaces, each with two bedrooms and a bathroom, allowing two families with children to have their privacy.

300 m from the beach and close to shops, mini-market, pharmacy, post office. (No need to use your car)
Wednesday morning and Friday evening market.
Sunny terraces sheltered from the wind.

We loved our stay at the cottage! The location is absolutely perfect— beach and restaurants all a quick walk. It’s true- there is no WiFi and the tv was not working (Dominique let us know in advance) but you do not need it! We enjoyed making fires, reading, cooking and the peace this house provided. The deco is so French-country beach and we loved it. Wissant surprised us in so many good ways and we will be back. I’d stay at this cottage in a heartbeat. For reference, we were 2 adults and 3 teens and we had literally two separate wings. The house is so much bigger than you can see from the photos.

Eine sehr schöne Wohnung, schön renoviert und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Perfekte für 2 Familien (wir waren insgesamt zu siebt), mit Platz zum zurückziehen. Ausstattung der Küche umfangreich, lediglich scharfe Kochmesser fehlten. Hier und da könnte die Wohnung etwas Liebe gebrauchen (wackelnde Türklinken, Wäscheständer steht nicht mehr von selbst), aber das sind nur Kleinigkeiten. Wir haben die Wohnung geliebt und wollen wieder hin.

Ein tolles charmantes Dorf. Das Haus ist sehr schön und zentral gelegen, viele Möglichkeiten für Strandwanderungen. Das Haus selbst ist urig, einer der beiden Hausteile ist fast noch im Original erhalten.

Wir waren Anfang August mit zwei Familien hier (4 Erwachsene, 3 Kinder und ein Baby) – und wir hätten uns kaum eine bessere Unterkunft vorstellen können!Das Besondere: Es sind eigentlich zwei Häuser, die im Erdgeschos zusammengelegt wurden. Hier gibt es einen großen, offenen Bereich zum gemeinsamen Kochen, Essen und Zusammensitzen. Oben hingegen sind die Schlafbereiche komplett getrennt, jeweils mit eigener Treppe – perfekt, um sich auch mal als Familie zurückziehen und etwas Privatsphäre genießen zu können.Die Einrichtung ist gemütlich und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Alles war sauber, gepflegt und vollständig ausgestattet – wir hatten wirklich alles, was wir brauchten. Die Küche lässt keine Wünsche offen, die Räume groß und es gibt genug Platz, damit alle sich wohlfühlen.Die Lage ist ideal: zentral und trotzdem ruhig, mit kurzen Wegen zum Strand, zum Bäcker und den Ortskern. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war schnell und unkompliziert.Unser Fazit: Eine perfekte Unterkunft für zwei Familien, in der man sich sofort zu Hause fühlt.

Altes Fischerhaus

Die beiden charmanten Fischerhäuser entsprachen unseren Erwartungen. Keine serienmäßige Einrichtung, trotzdem mit großem Komfort. Ruhig gelegen, nahe zum Meer. Einzig die Kommunikation war etwas holprig. Konnte aber immer mit der sehr freundlichen Vermieterin geklärt werden.Wir können dieses Haus sehr empfehlen.

Une maison de ville raffinée et chaleureuse

Nous connaissions déjà Wissant et savions à quoi nous attendre de ce point de vue. La maison est très bien située, très calme, et on la sent habitée : chaleureuse, meublée et décorée avec soin. La cuisine est parfaitement équipée. Nous avons peu utilisé la deuxième grande pièce au rez-de-chaussée, surtout occupée par les enfants pour jouer. Maison ancienne, il ne faut pas s'attendre à une isolation sonore optimum et il vaut mieux prévoir de vivre tous au même rythme, principalement pour ceux qui dorment au-dessus de la cuisine et de la pièce principale.Les deux salles de bain à chaque étage (la maison en réunit deux bâtisses dont les étages ne se rejoignent pas) sont un confort pour que chaque couple ait son intimité.Les deux chambres avec lits superposés et lits simples ayant plutôt des dimensions de cabines de bateau, mieux vaut les réserver pour des enfants ou pour des courts séjours si des adultes comptent y dormir. Merci en tout cas pour cette belle maison.

Très belle maison au cœur de Wissant

Très belle semaine d’automne à Wissant dans la maison de Dominique. Très spacieuse, la maison est décorée avec goût, la cuisine est très bien équipée et on s’y sent chez soi. Merci beaucoup !

Nettes Häuschen

Wir waren mit 2 Familien dort und und fanden das Haus geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Alles war sauber und die zwei Bäder sind hygienisch und neu. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet mit Spülmaschine, Mikrowelle und andere Notwenigen Elektrogeräten. Eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner gibt es auch. Es gibt zwei Wohnstuben, so dass man sich auch mal aus dem Weg gehen konnte. Der Fernseher ist etwas klein aber dafür gibt es auch deutsche Sender. Es gibt zwar keinen Garten aber dafür zwei kleine Terrassen. Das hat uns aber nicht gestört. Das gesamte Haus hat Holzboden und das knarzt dann schon mal und ist vielleicht auch etwas hellhörig. Uns hat die Atmosphäre im Haus gut gefallen und können dieses Ferienhaus daher nur weiter empfehlen. Einen Fön gab es leider nicht und im Ort ist nur ein kleiner Laden. Die Preise sind etwas hoch, daher am besten einige Lebensmittel lieber selbst mitbringen. Da wir der französischen Sprache nicht mächtig sind, war die Verständigung schwierig weil die meisten auch kein englisch sprechen. Hund ist nach Absprache erlaubt aber leider dürfen diese nicht an die Promenade und erst ab 19 Uhr an den Strand. Das war für uns etwas schade.
