This property is dog friendly so you are required to select the pet fee option when booking if you are bringing a dog. All dogs must be approved PRIOR to booking - dogs under 60lbs only. There are breed restrictions due to insurance reasons. Pet fee is non refundable & taxable. The fee is based on the breed & size. Dog friendly only - NO CATS or other animals. Max allowed is 2. Failure to disclose the dog and pay the pet fee will result in a charge up to $500 and asked to vacate without a refund. No cats or other animals allowed at this property.

Lou & Mary's home was wonderful. Clean, comfortable, and with all the comforts requited for a great stay. Jessy from Vacation Rentals was very helpful along the way. We have rented may homes in the Keys over the years and this house was one of the best. Highly recommended. A++

Getaway Review

Overall the house was nice. However, it would be helpful if the closets in the bedrooms were not stuffed with so much junk. We we unable to actually use to hang up clothes. Small bathrooms. Finally, the AC did not work that well during the day (probably because it’s so hot outside?). They did have a window unit in the main bedroom that worked well but the rest of the house was definitely warmer. However, it definitely cooled off in the evenings. But, overall, a nice place to stay, lots of things to do in and around the area.

It's all about the location

The location of this duplex was perfect for 4 is 2 retired couples. Close to beaches, restaurants, parks and other fun sights. The rental was clean, had a grill, well supplied kitchen, nice covered patio and included both the Cabana Club and Inch Beach which we loved using everyday. The electrical work was very confusing, as we figured it out after about 2 days. Bedroom outlets are loose and the main wall switches had to remain on for the outlets to work. Refrigerator ice maker didn't work, Several kitchen chairs needed repaired and the washing machine in the outdoor shed wiggled it's way off the cement blocks during the spin cycle. We chose not to ride the bikes as they were very rusty and had flat tires. The older neighbors were very nice, but heavy smokers and this was not what I wanted to smell all day long while out on the patio. We did see a Manatee in the canal on 2 occasions and the evening skies were amazing.

Great central Keys location

The middle keys a great place to stay when visiting this area. And Key Colony Beach is a hidden gem. It's a nice mix of rentals and owner occupied residences that results in quiet and safe surroundings, while still supplying all that the Keys has to offer. Easy drives to Key West, or up Keys to Islamorada and Key Largo. Lou and Mary's sits on a nice canal and a step down dock makes getting in/out of the supplied kayaks easy. We paddled along with three manatees one outing! The duplex itself is clean, quiet, and nicely equipped. The way the owners had it set up during our stay it was a one bedroom two bath with a den. The other beds are actually out in the living area. Nice shaded outside seating that faces west to enjoy sunsets. They seemed to be very frugal with consumable supplies. One roll of paper towels, one roll of toilet paper in each bath, three dishwash pods, 4 laundry pods, and no spare garbage limers. A well equipped kitchen, but bring all the spices and condiment you may need. Nice big BBQ to grill up lobster tails and fresh fish. Didn't use the clubhouse, but the private Inch beach access was great. All that being said, I'd stay here again. Communication with management was quick and easy. And the location is excellent.

Home Away from Home

This is a very comfortable house with lots of little added amenities that made us feel welcome and at home. The property manager is a quick text away and answered our few questions promptly. The Cabana Club was a bit stuffy and limited, but right next door is Havana Jack's, with great food and drinks and welcoming servers! Nearby Sparky's Tiki Bar was another favorite, so we didn't miss the Cabana Club at all. We highly recommend this beautiful home!

Quaint spot

Enjoyed stay and stuff to do for all ages. House set up well for family and provides lots for a family to enjoy outdoors. comfortably sleeps 6 and management of property was extremely accommodating and reacted quickly to questions. Private beach a huge plus.....

We did reach out to you and asked if you like for an emergency service call and the agent was told when they called you that you guys had decided to leave the next day anyway and not to send anyone over that evening. We did have the Ac serviced the next day and added to a regular maintenance schedule so this doesn't happen again.

Great view, poor timing in the Keys

The property floorplan had a great layout to see the waterfront from inside the A/C and outside in the breezes. Was stocked well for kitchen and beach towels. The provided bikes worked well. Didn't try kayak because there's no ladder to get back out. Disappointed with the linens & the comforters were literally ripping at the seams in the double beds. Hoping management will replace them with nice quality, new bedding. Our timing was poor in the Keys because of the increased regulations. Businesses treated us poorly when we didn't approach hostess with masks on. They didn't seem to have any training on how to politely handle the situation. Cabana Club (included in this rental) was the same way. Hoping that property owners/managers will stand up to the county commissioners to treat tourists respectfully.

This property was clean and well equipped, however some experiences during our stay were disturbing and unpleasant. First, there must have been some heavy smoking in the house in past years because whenever the A/C was running there was a very smoky smell from air coming from the vents. Smoke smell in ductwork. Fortunately we did not need the A/C running during part of our stay. Second, smoke from the neighbor next door came wafting over. This is a duplex so very close quarters. Third, on other side there was some ongoing repair work on sliding doors involving drilling, hammering and jack 🔨hammering, especially on weekends. Unpleasant. Upcoming renters should inquire how long his project will last. Lastly, the picture of the place was taken from across the canal and the view you have from the duplex is of boats, a bit of water and the houses on other side. In second bedroom there was VERY messed up door blind. It should and could have been replaced in one or two days. It was extremely unsightly. In view of these issues I think this duplex was overpriced.

Perfect place for our family getaway

My husband,13 year old son, and myself stayed here while visiting my daughter who is a resident of the Keys. We were very pleased with the layout of this clean and comfortable space. The full kitchen was so handy for keeping costs down, we made some great meals and had a couple fun family game nights. My son loved having a tv in his room (we didn't mind not having one in ours) and we all found the beds comfy and the linens super soft. Having two full bathrooms was great, and I appreciated the awesome water pressure in our shower. Everything we needed was there. Being right on the water we were visited by a manatee and other things we don't get to see where we're from. The pool and beach access at the cabana was awesome too, gave my son some much needed pool time and we ate at their bar one night (it was good!). The staff was friendly and the hot tub was a perk. Overall, we didn't want to leave and would definitely love to return someday. Thank you!

Nice home on the water.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The home was nice, very well stocked with kitchen necessities. The dock was perfect for the boat we rented and the bait cooler was very nice to have. Only small things stopped us from giving 5 stars. First was no lights worked outside the back of house, would of been nice to have lights around dock or grill at night. Second the ants we're out of control in house, I know that is a tough area to keep ants under control but more spraying may be in order. Lastly a bigger grill would be nice, but at least one was provided with plenty of propane. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Perfect Getaway

My family loved staying at this lovely home! Exceptionally clean, had all the necessities, and such a quiet neighborhood. Decor was lovely and the outside sitting area is wonderful! We were especially thrilled to have manatees come right up to the dock and hang out for a bit. My son even got to give one of them a belly rub! Definitely a plus!! Would recommend this gem to all!
