About this property

Charming Old Town Loft in Konstanz with Rooftop Terrace -sleeps 4.

Our apartment is located right in the heart of Konstanz on Lake Constance (Bodensee).
It offers two double beds and sleeps up to four guests, plus a charming gallery level tucked under the ceiling. The apartment is on the 5th floor of a historic building and features rooms with lovely views over the old town.
Please note: there is no elevator. The stairs are part of the experience, so you should be comfortable walking up to the 5th floor.
It was completely renovated in 2022.
A new kitchen and bathroom as well as a wooden floor and a rooftop terrace—accessible via the gallery—make this a truly rare and special place to stay in Konstanz. And we have recently added a new sofa to make the appartement even more cosy and comfortable for our guests.

Fantastic place, don't let the stairs our you off. Location in Konstanz is great, lots to see and to do within walking distance, buses to key locations a 5 min walk away. Hosts are super-friendly and accommodating, and provide much valuable information - so it's easy to make he most of one's time in Konstanz. 10/10 experience for us. :)

Die Gastgeberin Frau Korell war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung ist schön und gepflegt. Kritisch zu bewerten sind die fehlenden Parkmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe der Wohnung. Die Küchenausstattung ist okay, aber es wäre gut, wenn z.B. ein Abtropfsieb u.ä. vorgehalten werden könnte.

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, liebevoll saniert, gut eingerichtet, sehr sauber! Für den Aufstieg in den fünften Stock würde man mit Dachterrasse und dem Blick über Konstanz belohnt. Parken konnte man kostenlos etwa 15 Gehminuten entfernt.Die Stadt und Umgebung lohnen auf jeden Fall eine Reise und für alle in der Familie war etwas dabei.Die Vermieterin Frau Korell war super freundlich und hilfsbereit!Kläre Empfehlung!

Eine absolute Herzensempfehlung für wunderschöne Tage in Konstanz.Die Wohnung hat alles, was man braucht und am schönste ist natürlich die kleine Dachterrasse mit dem Blick über die Dächer von Konstanz. Sonnenauf-und untergänge sind einfach herrlich dort!Janine als Gastgeberin ist super freundlich, hilfsbereit, hat super Tipps und antwortet so schnell. Der größte Pluspunkt ist die Lage der Wohnung: direkt vor der Haustüre ist die Bushaltestelle mit Fahrt zum Strandbad oder zum Bahnhof, zu Fuß ist man in 5 Minuten in der Altstadt und dass unten im Haus unser Lieblingscafe war, hat uns den Start in den Tag versüßt! Vielen lieben Dank für die tolle Zeit dort!

Schöne Wohnung in toller Lage

Wir haben mit unseren Kindern (1+5) 3 Nächte in Konstanz verbracht. Die Lage der Wohnung war dafür unschlagbar, wir konnten alles zu Fuß erreichen. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Die Kommunikation mit unserer Gastgeberin Janine war super und die Begrüßung sehr herzlich. Es stand sogar eine Kiste mit Spielzeug extra für unsere Jungs bereit. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Optimale Lage - Brandneu - Supernette Vermieter

Die Lage ist praktisch nicht zu überbieten. Nicht vom Treppenhaus abschrecken lassen, was sich im Dachstul auftut sind zwei bin ins letzte Detail super gemachte neue Wohungen. Kompakt und genau richtig als Ferienwohung. Die Einrichtung ist noch im Aufbau, aber schon jetzt ist alles Wichtige dabei. Ganz großes Lob an dieser Stelle an die Vermieter! Wichtige Info: In der Umgebung sind alle Parkplätze kostenpflichtig. Das sind wir aus der Großstadt gewöhnt, aber der längste Parschein geht nur über 2h. Anosnsten Parkhaus oder etwas laufen und außerhalb der Parkzone parken. Hat man keine Auto, dann würsste ich wirklich nichts, was einer Kritik würdig wäre. Alles super!

I first came to Konstanz to study at the University of Konstanz—and that’s when I fell in love with this beautiful city on Lake Constance. After travelling widely, I knew I wanted to settle here. When the opportunity came up to purchase this historic building with its long story, it felt like the perfect fit. Today, My wife Janine and I truly enjoy welcoming guests and helping them experience Konstanz at its best.

Why they chose this property

The apartment is in Konstanz’ old town, where everything is right on your doorstep: cafés, restaurants, the lake promenade, shops, museums, and historic streets to explore. Public transport is right in front of the house, so you can easily reach the main station, the university, the thermal baths, or nearby towns around the lake. It’s the kind of neighborhood where you can simply step outside and start enjoying the city.

What makes this property unique

You’ll be staying in the part of Konstanz that locals affectionately call “Paradies” (“Paradise”)—and you’ll quickly see why. The apartment is a rare top-floor home in a historic building, with a gallery level under the roof and access to a rooftop terrace. Combined with the fully renovated kitchen and bathroom (2022) and the beautiful views over the old town, it’s a very special place that’s hard to find in Konstanz.
