Lovely house in a very good location. Peaceful and close to amenities. Host helpful and friendly,Note to others: the toilet and shower room are downstairs. The stairs are quite steep, so could be a problem for some who need the bathroom in the night.Only criticism: we asked for the linen/towels to be provided, which we were to pay for on arrival - fair enough. But when we arrived after a long drive they weren't there and only provided by the host once she arrived. So we then had to start making all the beds. Normally I would expect that to have been done.

Great experience

We had a great stay, just too short for us. The owners thought of everything, even toys to play with for the kids. We really love the area of the wine fields and you see them from the terrace. We really recommend this house.

Delightful outdoor living in a traditional French gite

The garden was particularly lovely. We enjoyed bbqs whilst listening to the birds. It was nice to be able to walk into the charming village to buy fresh bread, fresh meat and fish and great wine. The gite was well equipped and provided an excellent base to explore the Burgundy vineyards.

Burgundy Bliss

Nolay is a lovely town with very friendly residents and a brilliant boulangerie/patisserie plus everything else you might need. The house is just on the fringe and a short walk to the centre and very well placed for touring the many very famous vineyards and chateaux in the area. We had brilliant weather and often sunbathed in the lovely garden where BBQ's were frequent. Karine was very welcoming and helpful and provided a bottle of FIZZ for us on arrival which we really needed after the drive from Calais. Thank you so much Karine.

We stayed during mid-September. It's a really nice little house on the edge of the town of Nolay. It's peaceful and quiet. Parking is easy. It's just outside. The road is, again, quiet with little, if any, through traffic. The shops are within easy walking distance; especially the two bakers in town. There's a good supermarket too just on the edge of town called bi1. It was more than adequate for our purposes.The house itself has all you really need. It's adequately equipped. Actually, for us, it was quite comfortable.The garden is a nice size. There are plenty of chairs for outdoor use and a decent sized table. There are some neighbours, but we didn't see them! Our host, Karine, was very attentive and very welcoming. She met us at the house and showed us around. During our time there we did have a couple of questions which Karine addressed in very good time.We had a good stay. It's good value for money.

Agréable séjour dans une maison accueillante, au calme, avec un jardin sympa bien équipé avec table, chaises et barbecue. Gîte proche du centre ville de Nolay où se trouvent de nombreux commerces. Parking devant le gîte. Bonne situation pour visites de Beaune et ses hospices, Châlon/Saône, Autun, et nombreux châteaux (Couches, Sully, Rully, Savigny-les-Beaune). Accrobranches à Givry très bien équipé et nombreux parcours y compris pour les petits à partir de 3 ans.Karine la propriétaire est très sympa et attentionnée.

Gite calme et bien situé

Gite calme en limite de la ville tout en étant proche de tous les bons commerces .Départ en randonnées de la maison par la voie verte ou les différents chemins et petites routes vers les vignes,falaises ou cascades. Beaune à une petite demi heure avec ses hospices immanquables mais également la ville qui vaut le détour de même que les vignes châteaux et villages autour. Un peu trop de chaleur cette semaine pour nous nordistes qui n y sommes pas habitués...En bref une belle découverte de la Bourgogne dans un joli cadre et une hôte très sympathique.

Zorgeloos Bourgogne

Na aankomst in het huis ben je gauw op je gemak. Het is prettig ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. De tuin is rustig en zonnig. De ligging ten opzichte van het dorp Nolay is geweldig, een goede bakker en een ruime supermarkt zijn lopend te bereiken. Nolay zelf licht mooi centraal in de Bourgogne waardoor plaatsen als Beaune, Meursalt en Dijon eenvoudig te bezoeken zijn. De eigenaar is uitstekend te bereiken en buitengewoon vriendelijk.

Parfait

Les contacts avec la propriétaire avant l'arrivé se sont bien déroulé ainsi que l'accueil. Le logement est idéalement situé dans Nolay sans être sur la route qui traverse le village. On peut quasiment faire ses courses sans voiture. Pas de surprise par rapport au logement, la description est tout à fait correcte. Le jardin est un vrai plus pour les enfants. Beaucoup d'activité sont disponible à proximité et le Parc du Morvan se situe entre 30 min et 1 heure de route en fonction de l'endroit. A recommander et à refaire.

Un tres bon séjours

Nous avons passé un séjour tres agréable dans une region que nous ne connaissions pas. Un peu court mais une belle expérience. La maison est super agréable. On s’y s’en bien et les propriétaires tres investis à notre égard . On a vraiment quitté ce lieu à regrets! Nous y reviendrons bien volontiers.

Très bon accueil de Karine avec une gentille attention dans le frigo ! La maison est très bien avec tout le confort. Belle région à découvrir tant pour des vins que pour des paysages. Nous reviendrons aux beaux jours.

Tolles Haus, tolle Lage

Wir hatten eine schöne Woche in diesem Haus, Großzügig, hochwertig und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Großer, sonniger Garten mit einer schicken Terrasse. Interessante Radtouren gemacht. Die Gastgeber sind äußerst freundlich und unkompliziert. Dieses Domizil ist nur zu empfehlen.
