You can access a seven-mile stretch of a sandy beach just 0.4 miles from the house. Downtown Rockaway Beach is three miles to the south, where you will find an array of dining options, antique stores, fun gift shops, necessities, and more. Catch the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad for a quick trip down to the fishing village of Garibaldi, where you can pick up some fresh seafood from the marina. Crabbing and salmon fishing are less than five minutes away on the Nehalem River, and great trout fishing awaits at Lake Lytle.

The house was clean and comfortable, close to where we needed to go.

The house had a great amount of various amounts of different glasses, plates, and utensils, additional bedding. All in all a very comfortable atmosphere.

Spacious home at the beach.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Captain's Quarters on the Oregon Coast. Large well-equiped kitchen with a large stock of dishes, glass and plastic ware, pots and pans and flatware. Icemaker in the fridge was a real asset for beverages. Pantry items are minimal, so make sure to bring your own if you plan to cook. We had to borrow some salt from the lovely neighbors next store, and meeting them was a lovely bonus.

Rockin' It At Rockaway

Clean, spacious, nicely decorated. Quiet neighborhood. Beach is only a block or so over from the property. Plenty of parking. The owners do need to do to Home Depot and buy a decent grill for the backyard, however. We were there to attend a wedding and the property worked out very well for our party. A bit north of "downtown".
