If you're looking to soak up some sun, drive just under 7 miles to reach Newport's Easton's Beach. This well-maintained public beach offers a variety of seasonal events, cabanas, and plenty of places to enjoy the Easton Bay! If you're looking to stay on the island, head over to Beavertail lighthouse and take in the views. 

Downtown Jamestown is only a 10-minute walk from the property and is a beautiful place to visit local stores, restaurants, and to explore the local history such as the Jamestown Fire Department Museum. The Narragansett Cafe offers excellent music on the weekends and Mondays there is a farmers market at the town hall. Don't forget to stop in at some of the local farms as well: Hodgkiss, Windmist, and Watson Farms. Enjoy fun family-friendly activities: hike in the Audubon Sanctuary, visit historic Fort Getty Park and Fort Wetherill State Park, bike to Beavertail Lighthouse State Park and visit the lighthouse museum, play golf at the public course, swim in nearby Mackerel Cove, and scuba dive in ocean caves on the island. Maybe even venture on over to historic Newport which is a short ten-minute drive or experience the seasonal ferry ride across Narragansett Bay, which is walking distance from the property.
