Location Location: Beachfront home on Lobsterville Beach in Aquinnah, This wonderful beach house is waiting for you! Enjoy the cathedral ceilings in the living room, large kitchen, den and dining room with sliding glass doors opening to lovely yard.
4 spacious bedrooms, 2 baths, 3 fireplaces. Steps from Lobsterville Beach through our private deeded beach dune path. Great for Swimming or taking advantage of local fishing at the 'Dogfish Bar'. Large open new kitchen with granite counters. Hardwood floors and high ceilings throughout. Mahogany decks. Outdoor seating, grill & outdoor shower. Ocean views from every room. View of Menemsha from the beach. Check out the google earth picture and you can see just how close we are to the water!

This property is in a great location for families. We made good use of the beach nearby as well as other Aquinnah beaches. Be aware it is another 60/house to park one car at the fabulous Philbin beach ( We think the best on the island) and can not get car pass until Monday. Kitchen was well stocked. Lovely breeze helped in the hot weather.

Amy is a very casual, communicative, and helpful owner... a true pleasure to rent from!Her home is in mint condition and, for me, best of all, is her interior design, creativity and taste that is apparent throughout. ...especially her taste in contemporary and vintage folk art!!! Every surface of the house house has sculptures, paintings, illustrations, mobiles and handcrafted rugs. I felt I was staying in a virtual reality 'cover story' home featured in Architectural Digest. Yet in all of its design and decorative perfection, the house was as comfortable and homey as the old, well broken-in, rustic salt box cottages I have always loved and rented in Aquinnah.That was due to Amy's down to earth friendly personality. I felt that in the conversations I'd had with her prior and during our stay. Oh, Amy is also a 'pet friendly' owner to boot, imagine that...-Vincent(btw, VRBO alerted me, as I was writing this review, that the owner had posted an 'Owner'e Review of Tenants', which I haven't read yet. I'm a bit anxious to now read it! My fingers are crossed that we received a 5 star rating, too. Wish me luck!)

We stayed with our 3 adult children and partners and had a blast! Great house, great location - a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle “up island.” House is well stocked - beach chairs, towels, bikes, kayak - no need to haul all your own stuff. Would definitely come back.

Our family of four stayed at this home for the Memorial Day weekend. Very easy to find and a beautiful location. The views were amazing especially the sunrise! The beds were very comfortable and the home is well stocked with any essentials you may need during your stay. Amy was very attentive and easy to communicate with. Overall perfect stay and we would highly recommend!

Aquinnah Gem!

This is a wonderful house in a secluded and private Aquinnah location. We loved watching the sunrise and listening to the waves. The house has everything you need to stay with family or friends and cook and have fun.

Lovely Stay in Aquinnah

We are happy to be able to give the owner the first review on their wonderful home. We went with another family and we all had a terrific stay. Inviting and Comfortable Beach House

This house is just lovely. It is steps from the beach, it is comfortable and inviting and has cute decorating touches throughout the home. It is in beautiful Aquinnah near the Aquinnah Cliffs. My husband and I, and are dogs, were all relaxed and rested after our trip to this home. After having stayed in various VRBO homes, we would recommend this property.

A Fabulous Stay!!

This house was perfect! Our son was getting married in Aquinnah and 6 adults and one infant enjoyed this slice of heaven.. Everything was just perfect…the views.beach… location… decor…outdoor shower…AC…every amenity made for a fabulous stay. Amazing Escape to Paradise Under the Stars

Beautiful home, a short walk from the beach with amazing weather. Aquinnah is such a quiet and unspoiled corner of Martha's Vineyard. The stars at night are so huge and seemingly near in the ink black sky that you might duck your head for fear of bumping into them. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this beautiful home. We want to return soon!!!

Perfect house!

Our second summer staying in this house with friends and our 2 dogs. The house is perfectly set up with anything you or your pets could need or want! The yard is lovely and the beach access is amazing! The hosts are extremely accommodating and made sure we were safe with an approaching hurricane. The house is clean, safe and perfect for all!!

Weekend getaway

This house in Aquinnah was the perfect family friendly home for our long weekend at the vineyard! Clean, quaint with island charm, with plenty of room and privacy for two families and two dogs. Short walk to the beach and a big back yard for some after beach bbqs & lawn games! Amy was a fantastic host! Super responsive and extremely hospitable! Highly recommend for your next trip out to the other side of the vineyard. Will stay again!

We have loved visiting the Vineyard for years, and particularly Acquinnah. We decided to purchase a house this summer, and would love to share it with you. We welcome families and pets, and know you will enjoy the beautiful views, the proximity to the beach, and the comforts of the house. We hope you will come back year after year!!

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this house at first sight. It is beautiful inside and out. We love the multiple sound views, the expansive lawn, the light that streams in through the windows and the ability to be on the beach in a minute. We love the dog friendly beach as well.
