Spectacular Sunset Lake House w/Dock And Enchanting Views

Welcome to the MOST enchanting and picturesque vacation destination on the Gold Coast.

We offer accommodations from Saturday to Saturday. Our year-round, three-bedroom/three full bath home includes two queen beds and two twin beds upstairs plus a queen sofa sleeper on the main level. Linens are included for all beds as are bathroom towels. (Guests who prefer may bring their own towels and linens.) Docks w/electric and water are available for a small additional fee.

Spectrum cable TV and WiFi pair with excellent cell reception. Throughout, ceiling fans augment the cool lake breezes. The Master Bedroom and the two guest bedrooms also have A/C window units (though they are rarely necessary.)

In early spring or later in the fall, a whole-house radiant heating system keeps all rooms toasty.

The master bedroom is a true gem. A wall of windows overlooks the shimmering lake and a Jacuzzi tub allows for a relaxing bath while gazing at the scenery. The master also has a massive walk-in closet with its own lake-view window and it's own window A/C.

The main floor features an inviting living/family room with game table and games; formal dining room; nicely stocked library/office; and a casual dining area. Chefs will appreciate the updated, fully equipped kitchen with induction range, new top-of-the-line fridge, microwave, double oven and dishwasher; pots, pans, dishes, glassware and everything needed for cooking. Many condiments and basics are also stocked.

A beautifully landscaped yard overlooks our two docks and swim area on picturesque Pentwater Lake. Relax watching the sailboats glide by from the docks, the deck or master bedroom, living room, kitchen, breakfast room or library – all with views overlooking the scenic lake. The deck has two tables and seating areas with a large propane grill. In front is parking for three vehicles in the driveway.

A refreshing swim or a fun day of fishing off the dock is just steps away.

Nearby, there is so much to enjoy! For beach lovers, the sugar sand expanse of Charles Mears beach on Lake Michigan is in town. A short stroll from the lake house is the local market and a seasonal stand selling fresh sweet corn on the honor system.

Of course, in the quaint village of Pentwater all the shops, restaurants and ice cream parlors are right around the corner. Near three picturesque marinas is the Village Green where there is a weekly band concert as well as a twice-weekly Farmer’s Market and multiple craft fairs throughout the summer.

In short, our Lake House is the ideal getaway for those wishing to relax, recharge and enjoy the magic of Pentwater in an exquisite setting.

For anyone looking for a Spring Break or multi-family “party house” this is definitely not the destination. No large groups or loud parties allowed. We limit occupancy to eight people to maintain the magic, serenity and ambiance. We have great friends and neighbors who help with the property and will be eager to assist and welcome guests. Children and well-behaved pets (friendly/minimal barking) are welcome.

Rents Saturday to Saturday by the week. Weekly rate is $3,300.00. Also needed is a separate $750.00 refundable damage deposit. There is an additional fee of $250.00 for the use of the docks.
