Natural Waterfall, Pond, and 2 1/2 acres of dog paradise!

2 Bedrooms: King, King, Queen Sleeper sofa and 1 Bathroom – Front porch and enclosed deck – Waterfalls.
With two waterfalls, those looking for tranquility, peace and quiet will not be disappointed. The cabin sits just 4 miles from Dillard, GA. With a covered front porch, enclosed porch with ceiling fans, a pond with waterfall and a natural water fall on the 2.5 acre lot, there is plenty of places to sit and relax. The enclosed porch includes two ceiling fans for enjoying the sound of the waterfall and enjoying the peace and tranquility of this secluded cabin. There is a large, flat parking area with easy access to the cabin. There is a large garage for parking or social gathering.
Inside, there are two bedrooms and a fold out couch for sleeping up to 6 guests. There is a full bathroom and an open kitchen with ample counter space for those who want to cook their own meals. An open dining room allows for relaxing in front of the TV or playing games at the dining room table. There is a picnic table outside with a view of the man-made pond and waterfall. Just a short walk up the path and you arrive at the natural waterfall located on the property.
Both rooms feature king size beds with ceiling fans. The bathroom features a shower/bathtub combination for relaxing after a day of hiking some of the nearby waterfalls or shopping in nearby Dillard. The cabin is located just south of the North Carolina border and is only 20 miles from Franklin, NC or Highlands, NC and 11 miles from Clayton, GA.
Cell phones will not work at this location, however, Internet is provided so you can use the VoIP service offered on most phones (Voice Over Internet Protocol).
We supply 2 rolls of toilet paper, 2 two rolls of paper towels in kitchen, along with soap and shampoo. There should be enough basics to give you time to go shopping once you have settled in.

Cabin was great as usual. The only suggestion I might make is to have some new cooking utensils. They are well used and some are slightly melted. Silicone might last longer.

Beautiful pet friendly house. Great location to local small towns & trail heads. We traveled with 3 dogs. Our dogs are well traveled & go with us hiking. Yard was well kept. Very short walk to the natural waterfall on the property. Highly recommend!!

Better than the pictures!

Quiet lot, neighbors are far enough for privacy. Lot is beautiful, house is clean..it had everything you need. Loved having the use of the garage. Home easily accessible..not difficult to get too! Only feedback was there are no closets to hang clothes..however there are several hooks throughout the house. Home much better than pictured! Would rent again!

Relaxing Rabun County

Nice property, nice house. Despite Hurricane Helene we were able to enjoy the area, enjoyed relaxing in the screened in porch. Quiet place. Or Lab Max was very happy. The property caretaker and the cleaning lady stopped by checking to see if we were ok. at separate times on Friday, the aftermath of Helene, since we lost power and WiFi . Thanks for caring.

This was my absolute favorite rental property!

From the moment we checked in we were in heaven. The property is perfect! Loved having a garage to store our toys in while we explored. The Waterfalls on the property add to the beauty and is so perfect to listen to in the evening. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook dinner for the week. The bed is amazingly comfortable. Loved this property so much made me want to retire 30 years early, too bad I have to go back to reality. We will be renting again!

Absolutely Fantastic Property!

We could not have found a more perfect property for our dogs and us! The bed was comfy, the layout of the house is great, and the garage was a huge added benefit since our pups sometimes decide they’d like us to wake up throughout the night if someone rolls over on the other - but we couldn’t hear them at all! Directions were easy to follow, and we loved being tucked away from main roads. THE POND!!! We’ve got a retired duck hunter black lab, and she loved getting to fetch sticks out of the water! We will absolutely stay here every time we visit Georgia if we can!

A Wonderful Place

We stayed for 3 nights in early March, 2023. We had a little difficulty finding it the first night (Waze maps stopped short - but Google Maps found it fine). Entry was easy, it was clean and fresh, and everything worked well. It was very comfortable and well appointed. The living room furniture was nice and comfortable, as were the beds. The TV worked fine and we had great wi-fi and Netflix as a guest. The huge garage was a great bonus since it allowed us to get inside the beat the rain one day. And being in a rural area, it was quiet. The property also has a short path up to a waterfall, and the path is even partially lit at night. It was wonderful to be able to walk up to the waterfall each day and night. And down the road a little was a creek under a bridge that had a nice trail along the creek as well. All in all, we had a great time, we had easy access to roads to lot of waterfalls in the area, and we would definitely stay there again.

Nothing short of beyond incredible!!!

Wow!!!!! Just wow! The pictures do absolutely no justice of the inside or the outside of this amazing property! Not to mention how tentative the owners were to us. They responded very quickly and graciously with any questions I had. The hospitality is unmatched. We had an excellent thanksgiving where we made some new and wonderful memories on this beautiful property. We more or less came to town to tour neighboring wedding venues and our daughter made the comment upon arrival, “I’d honestly love to get married HERE!” Yes, that is how special and spectacular everything was. Inside and out, this is a perfect getaway with the best owners. 10/10!!!!! If I could give it a 100 I would! Thank you so much for accepting our request to stay in your gorgeous home! Not to mention, I always bring extra TP, PT, trash bags, pods, ect. They had it ALL. Most properties don’t take care you of you they way they take care of their guests. I can’t say ‘THANK YOU’ enough! We WILL be back. Also, don’t let the wifi calling scare you- it’s PERFECT and all of us were able to use it at once with ZEEO issues. Also, unheard of! Our pups LOVED this place as much as us! Super private but also very close to several of the cutest towns! (And shopping)!

Excellent experience

I highly recommend this property for your trip. The communication throughout the transaction was excellent. Derek replies to questions very promptly and provides plenty of detailed information prior to your stay. The property far exceeded our expectations. The house was clean and comfortable. You would never guess that this is a pet-friendly property because there were no signs or smells that pets had ever been there. It was well maintained and well stocked, including games, cornhole boards, fire starting materials, and pretty much anything you could need. The grounds are nice and we enjoyed evenings at the fire pit next to the pond. There are other homes nearby, but we did not hear a peep from them. We kept the windows open most of the time so we could hear the waterfall and birds. Access to Dillard and Clayton is easy and there are many restaurants and shops to check out. Be sure to check restaurant hours before venturing out. Many are closed for a day or two during the week and most close by 4pm on the days they are open - even on weekends. Black Mountain Park and Tallulah Gorge are close by if you’re looking to be outdoors. Yet while there is much to see and do in the area, we had the most fun just hanging at the house and enjoying some family time in the comfy and cozy home.

We absolutley loved this Cabin ! It was thr CLEANEST cabin we have EVER stayed at ( even the window sills were spotless ! ) The cabin was tastefully decorated and the beds were soo comfy ! We spent alot of time outside and enjoyed the beautiful pond and waterfall on the property . We loved that it is dog friendly and our tottweiler loved sitting by the pond and roaming around the huge yard . The cabin is secluded but its also close to town and also to alot of the waterfalls . We also loved that is was only a few minutes from North Carolina ! We loved sitting outside on the front porch in the mornings having our coffee watching the bumblebees collecting pollen from the beautiful flowers by the porch and at night we would sit outside listening to all of the sounds of nature . it was so peaceful and serene . Derek and Dana were very responsive to all of our needs and their communication with their guests is TOP NOTCH ! You will love everything about this beautiful cabin ! We will always remember it as one of our TOP FAVORITES !!!

This was the perfect weekend getaway! First of all, the house immaculately clean. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and the yard and screened in porch were perfect for enjoying the outdoors! Amazing Getaway

This property was clean, cozy, and stocked with everything needed for a pleasant stay. My 2 dogs had an absolute blast running the yard. The lighted walkway to the waterfall was an added bonus. We will definitely be back!!!

Slice of heaven

We came back to this cottage a year later because we loved the property and everything about it. It is an amazing value. Very affordable, yet pristine with everything you need. We love this cabin and the beautiful property it is on with the pond and a waterfall just up the little path in the woods. Our kids each brought a friend this year and they all loved hanging out in the oversized garage space.

We are two friends who decided we wanted property in North Georgia. I am originally from Colorado, and my business partner is a native of Atlanta. We both fell in love with the mountains and mountain life early on. He has been coming up and hiking these woods for years and I spent my youth in the mountains of Colorado. We finally decided we needed a place we could come to as we pleased. Rabun County is 70% National Forrest. The amount of hiking is almost unlimited. Making for a great place to get away.

We immediately found the serenity and beauty of this place amazing. The waterfall and pond, as well as the acreage were beautiful. The cabin is a cozy, perfect getaway. We bought this as a place we can come to and stay, as well as share.
