Absolutely Awesome

This cottage is one of a kind. We have stayed at many VRBO rentals and this one was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked like no other, the rooms were clean, the screen porch was a great way to start our morning especially since it rained the whole week. All of the personal touches were remarkable. The information manual was so well put together. We will return to this cottage for sure.

Winter weekend in the mountains

Peter and Debbie are wonderful hosts and the cabin is lovely. It has everything you need with lots of attention to details. Peter and Debbie met us at the cabin for a late check-in and made sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Cottontail Cottage

Well worth it!! The Cottage is lovely, comfortable, well equipped for any of our needs. Our host assured us of his help if needed. He has assembled a book of resources throughout the region ,we could use for recreation, groceries, interests, anything we'd want to explore during our stay. We ended each day with a fun walk around Black Rock Lake nearby.

We came to the North Georgia mountains for a visit and fell in love with the majestic beauty of these Blue Ridge Mountains but we moved here because of the people! The good folks here are so friendly, warm and caring. We have been renting Cottontail Cottage for more than 20 years and based on customer reviews, we have always maintained a consistent 5-star excellent rating! This has been a perfect getaway in the mountains! Rabun County and Cottontail Cottage are absolutely gorgeous! Our favorite moments have been sitting on the front porch rockers taking in the gorgeous view and sitting in front of the fireplace each night. We took a few day trips which were wonderful. I think I took 3 rolls of film in the 4 days we were here. We will have to save the rest for next year when we plan on coming back to Cottontail Cottage! Thank you for your hospitality.
