Only downside for this property was walking access to town for the non skiers, or rather return up the hill from town. Skiing access is excellent.

Best stay in Megève

Vincent was the perfect guest, always available to answer any question and give us advice. We absolutely loved the chalet ;) It is spacious, with every equipment needed also for a baby. The kitchen is perfect, Also the location is wonderful, ski in ski out and 15 minutes walking distance to the village. We will definitely come back ;)

Abbiamo trascorso due settimane in famiglia (cani compresi) in questo chalet. La casa è situata in una zona tranquilla a 20 minuti a piedi dal centro del paese, la funivia è a 5 minuti a piedi. La casa è bene attrezzata, la vasca idromassaggio in giardino è molto piacevole!Il soggiorno in questo chalet è stato davvero rilassante!

Vacances au soleil

Chalet très bien équipé, cosy pour les pièces à vivre. Mais attention pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas le terme de "basement" (ce qui était notre cas), il s'agit d'un sous-sol aménagé, sans lumière du jour : claustrophobes s'abstenir. Pour ceux qui ont des poussettes avec enfants en bas-âge, il vaut mieux être en bonne condition physique...la montée du centre du village au chalet est assez rude. Période mi mars 2024: pas un flocon de neige à l'horizon...la station la plus proche est à 1/2 heure de voiture + 2 remontées en télécabines....Il faut compter 1h environ avant d'être sur les skis. L'environnement est de qualité, calme, facile d'accès pour les promeneurs de tout poils :). Nous avons passé un bon séjour dans l'ensemble.

Bonjour Sandrine Je suis surprise par vos remarques, Premièrement les chambres dans le basement bénéficient de lumière du jour, via les sauts de loup typiques de l’architecture de Megeve a l’exception du dortoir ce qui est precisé dans l’annonce. Deuxièmement, Concernant le trajet pour aller au village, pour le faire avec mes 3 enfants en bas age et ma poussette ce n’est qu’a 15/20 min a pied et effectivement ca monte au retour, c est le principe de la montagne :) Malheureusement vous étiez très tard dans la saison et la neige n’est pas garantie a cette période, Megeve n’etant pas très haut! L’année dernière cette semaine la était très enneigée mais ce sont les aléas climatiques et le tarif de la location est bien ajusté a cause de ces aléas. Lorsqu’il neige nous sommes ski in skin out mais cela est plutôt valable pour la pleine saison évidemment. Rochebrune est le parfait compromis pour être près des pistes et pas loin du village a la différence de Mont d’arbois plus haut ou il y a plus de neige mais très excentré Je suis contente de savoir que vous avez passé un bon séjour malgré tout! Merveilleux séjour

Communication facile avec Dona et chalet qui correspond à la description et aux photos. C'est un vrai retour ski aux pieds quand il y a de la neige, et un retour à 100m quand il y en a moins, ce qui est également idéal. Très beau chalet, très bien équipé. La literie est parfaite, le coin salon très cosy. C'est un chalet où nous aimerions revenir. Merci Dona !

This is a perfectly situated chalet for skiing.

The chalet has a principal bedroom and ensuite on the first floor. All the other bedrooms are in the basement. Not stuffy down there with access to fresh air. Ground floor is the kitchen/ dining/sitting areas. We were a group of nine adults….family and plus ones….which fitted well. We ate in every night and the chalet is excellently equipped for this. More pots and pans than you can use in a week. 15 minutes walk to the bakery in the mornings….16 minutes back… it’s uphill. Warm and cosy, great views. It helps that we were spoilt with beautiful weather but I would recommend this chalet without hesitation.

Chalet très bien conçu. Très bien entretenu et très propre. La cuisine est particulièrement agréable grâce à ses grandes fenêtres qui offrent une beau panorama sur les montagnes. Le coin salon est très chaleureux avec son poêle. Les chambres en "cour anglaise" ont été très bien pensées, avec une arrivée sur un large couloir, des matériaux de qualité et un bel éclairage qui le rend parfaitement chaleureux. Les fenêtres en éclairage par le haut dans chaque chambre sont suffisantes pour des pièces dans lesquelles on ne fait que dormir et qui permettent d'être parfaitement au calme. Chaque détail a été pensé avec soin dans ce chalet et les pistes accessibles à 20 mètres permettent de savourer pleinement ses vacances.

Wonderful Chalet

The chalet is exactly as described by the owner, we were a group of 2 families and the downstairs bedrooms are small-ish but fine for what we required. The chalet is beautifully decorated and well equipped with everything you need if to wanted to eat in, the beds were lovely and comfortable just want you needed after a long day on the slopes! Vincent the owner was very helpful and informative throughout the booking process and made sure that there was someone to meet us as we arrived at the chalet. It is possible to ski closely from the chalet, but we chose not to due to this being our first time skiing with the kids. All in all, a lovely stay in a great Chalet. Highly recommended.
