Check in was easy. Location is great, easy access to highways and centrally located for neighborhoods.House was clean & tidy. AC was loud but we didn't need in on much. Nothing fancy, clean, great location and good price.
Loved the location and house. Only issue was hot summer for a swamp cooler. I will be back for another work trip and will love to stay. Won’t be so hot. I’m used to cool AC in the summer was only diff for this stay.
This was nice little place for a holiday staycation. The hot tub was big reason we stayed and used it every night. The place was conveniently located to a lot of stores and restaurants in the Nob Hill area. We were able to relax and enjoy the New Year.
Needs updates...linens and towels need to be replaced. Property manager not very communicative. Had issue with plumbing and roto rooter was contacted the same day. Clean up of sewage that backed up into the bathtub was cleaned by me. Great location and walkable to the main drag and to UNM. Hot tub was amazing as well. No smoke alarm or co2 detector present in the home. This is required by Vrbo and by NM state law.
Security keypad on the house AND gate. It was also super clean inside with a comfortable bed. I also brought my two girls (dogs) and they loved it as well. Thank you!
Cute neighborhood. Host answered and provided requests
The a/c was very very loud

Great location home needs updates
Had an issue with the sewage backing up into the bath notification from property manager that roro rooter would be out to fix it. The roto rooter guy was more concerned about the sewage that backed up in the tub than the pm was. Telling me to use bleach in the tub before using it. No fire or co2 detector in the home..required by NM state law and by Vrbo. Great location could be a great place but needs a coat of paint and new linens and towels and furniture is dated and in poor condition. But again the location is what makes this place worth it. fire alarm or co2 dconcerns from the PM

Short and almost sweet
The shared laundry space did not feel secure from the other space in the dwelling with just a hollow cores door and door knob lock.
stayed here with my wife and two small children. The house was comfortable, had a beautiful kitchen, and was in a great walkable area with tons of food options all around. We walked around the neighborhood by day, and by night relaxed with my wife under the stars.
Prompt service when we had an issue. The only things of note we would say is: the water pressure on the shower was low, not all the jets in the hot tub were functioning, and we were unaware the laundry room would be a shared experience. Otherwise, a perfect stay!

Great Area
The Nob Hill area is very nice. The rental was expensive. We were surprised at the LARGE cleaning fee, especially when there was bird poop all over the hot tub cover, and the small table outside the front door was filthy.
The house was OK, but not spotless like you would expect with cleaning fees like that. Everything else was OK also, but not as nice as you would expect for one of the highest rates we have paid. I guess they can charge that much because of the location.
Perfect place to unwind after busy days of sightseeing and visiting family. Hot tub was definitely a huge perk, although water level was a little low. Very private and relaxing.
Loved the Stephen King library and books on Art and Good Humor!
Minor inconveniences would be the one working lamp in the living room was obnoxiously bright, and none of the other lamps had bulbs in them?!
We also struggled with the furnace as it seemed to kick on only when it felt like it and got pretty chilly at night. Glad there were a couple space heaters available to help with that. Also, would have appreciated a toaster in the kitchen.
That being said, we absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend to others. Hope to return again soon!

Great location and nice landscaping but gross hot tub and lack luster inside.
Location was perfect for visiting my daughter who goes to UNM. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. When you pull up it looks cute, but inside there are no decorations except fake green vines hanging across walls in what I guess was the former dining room (there was no furniture in there). The bathtub is old but fairly clean, but hot water barely comes out. If you turn on a cold shower then there's decent pressure, but for a hot shower it just drips. The kitchen is nice, new appliances, but there's a gap around the door that connects to the back unit and someone could watch you through it. The hot tub is not really hot (maybe that's on purpose), but there were cigarette lighters strewn around and rotting fruit on the edge of the tub. We got right out because we couldn't relax. Then the cover wouldn't go back on and we were told to leave it. Fine for adults I guess but would have made me really nervous with kids in my party. Would not stay there again.

Meh…
We accidentally tried to check in a day early while the prior guest was at the property, and the door code worked meaning the owner doesn’t change it between guests.
There was only one bathroom (mentioned in the listing) but the one shower did not work making a family of 5 take baths only.
We also had a pretty significant ant problem in the kitchen for 3 days.
The jacuzzi was dirty, even for a short term rental property. The kids still used it, and you’ll find out why in a second.
The straw that broke the camels back was that the place was cooled with an inefficient and loud swamp cooler. We recorded 98 deg F. It was constantly over 85 deg F from noon till 10 PM at night. So the jacuzzi was cooler when hose water was added, hence why the kids used it to “cool” off.
We tried to get a refund from owner and VRBO, but has proven unsuccessful.
We told the owner about all these issues as we encountered them and gave a day or so for the owner to fix them, but we checked out after only 3 days (when we planned to stay for 2 weeks). The owner did send a plumber/handyman for the shower. They got it to semi work, but in order to fix said he would need to cut a hole in the wall and it would take away our access to the one bathroom. The owner also sent someone to spray for the ants. He was attentive, however, the issues (especially the cooler not working) made for unbearable living conditions. It seemed like a great location, but probably only during the cooler months.
We booked for Thanks Giving with short notice. Arrived for the check in time to find out that the Hot Tub (the reason we picked this property over another) is not working. Then we learned that the property only had two beds (there were 3 on the listing when we booked it). It was 5 pm on Thanks Giving and the idea of looking for another place at that moment made no sense. Bad experience over all and in-effective communication with the owner/manager.
House was clean and really cute. The host left some chips and salsa which was a nice welcome gift. The location is amazing.
I'm nit familiar with swamp coolers but I endes up with the impression it's not connected to the wall unit with a temperature gauge. We set it to 72, tirned it on, and then a couple of hours later the reading registered 60. So it was just on/off to keep it from being too cold.
The beds are comfortable but comically squeaky. The grill is absolutely not the one in the pictures, but we got the rusted one that is in the patio to work eventually.
Overall we would definitely stay here again.
Pros: great location, within walking distance to many places to eat and shop. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was great for cooking. Hot tub had some leaves in it but we enjoyed it as well. Check in was super easy
Cons: this unit is attached to another through the washer and dryer room. This is not described on the listing. there is another person living there. The doors between units were unlocked which lead to some awkward and scary interactions when we heard noises coming from the room. We also had to tell the neighbor not to play drums at night as our daughter was sleeping.
