Quiet getaway - wish it was longer

We came for the Eclipse and had a great time at this cabin. Clean, well appointed, plenty of indoor and outdoor activities, and helpful signs and directions to guide the visit. Our regret is not staying longer. We look forward to coming back as it is a very relaxing setting at the end of U-street and close to town, but far enough away to keep you away from the main road traffic. Thanks for a great stay!

Relaxing

We had a hard time bc the address wouldn’t pull up. Once we clicked on the address it took us to the right area. The turn by turn directions we’re good at that point. It was our fault for doing this late at night. Once we got there everything was wonderful! We had the best time, it was clean and well maintained and we really enjoyed our stay!

Better for small family

We loved the property and the house. However, I would recommend this to families of four, not six. The day bed and trundle were missing half of their bedding, and there was not extra bedding in the house except community blankets not meant for beds. We contacted the management and they assured us repeatedly for 2 days that housekeeping would bring the missing sheets but when we checked out on the last day, no sheets or blankets had ever arrived. So two of our kids were freezing for both nights of our vacation. It would have been very pleasant if we weren’t dealing with poor communication, missing supplies, and broken promises.

There was an issues with the AC from the moment we checked in. I communicated with the host, and repair vans came and drove in the driveway, and then drove away almost immediately. The upstairs ac never worked, and the downstairs ac would only work during the day when we were there. At night the house got to 77-80 every single night. It was miserable.

Wonderful getaway!

We had a great time at kindred spirits! The property was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of pace for everyone. The cabin was secluded enough but close to everything we wanted to do. Beds were comfortable and the house was well stocked!

PERFECT!

We had a great weekend with our kids and grandson. Kindred Spirits was beautiful and just as advertised. Quiet location, very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend and will be back again soon for another weekend trip. No issues and had everything we needed. Cabin supplies very well. Well worth the price!
