Es war zum wiederholten Mal ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt! Die Normandie im November ist einfach beeindruckend. Das Haus bietet für Ausflüge zur Küste und ins Hinterland einen wunderbaren Ausgangspunkt. Das zugängliche, freundliche und liebenswerte Gastgeberpaar trug wesentlich dazu bei, dass der Aufenthalt wieder unvergesslich war. Wir kommen gern wieder!

Een gite van alle gemakken voorzien gelegen op een unieke locatie op het platteland van Normandië. De eigenaren zijn vriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam. De gite is hondvriendelijk met een afgesloten tuin. In de onmiddellijke nabijheid van de gite zijn voldoende goede winkels (supermarkt, bakker en slager) en restaurants gelegen.

Die Natur der Normandie vom Feinsten. Auf einem Hügel mit weitem, freiem Blick auf Wiesen und Wälder. Eine fast englische Parklandschaft mit Hirschkühen und Eichhörnchen und am Fuße des Hügels ein rauschender Fluss für den Fliegenfischer. Ein unbeschreiblicher FRIEDEN, Sie sind allein, in einer Sackgasse, nur das Haus der alten, aber fröhlichen Besitzer ist in einiger Entfernung. Sympathische Menschen, die da sind, wenn man danach fragt. Das Haus ist einfach, hat aber alles was man braucht. Die Lage ist gut, die Küste ist nicht weit entfernt. Schöner Urlaub.

Het huisje is exact zoals de omschrijving; authentiek. Ruim verblijf voor 6 personen (4 slaapkamers), bedden opgemaakt, handdoeken aanwezig, keukenmateriaal (afwasmiddel, handdoeken, schuurspons, basis kookmateriaal o.a. olie en kruiden, ...) aanwezig. Rustige omgeving. Fijne gastheer en gastvrouw.

Parfait!

En pleine nature, calme assuré, seule préoccupation des propriétaires est que votre séjour se passe bien : literie excellente et lits faits à l'arrivée, bois dans le poêle qui n'attend plus que l'allumette, cidre sur la table, jardin fermé à l'arrière avec vue magnifique, seules les belles vaches normandes pour vous saluer. Génial ! Merci !

Het huis ligt op een mooie locatie, maar is wel behoorlijk gedateerd. De keuken is ingericht met oude apparaten en veel 'nutteloze' spullen. Zo staan er bijvoorbeeld heel veel pannen (veel meer dan je kunt gebruiken), maar er is geen vergiet. De omheining aan de achterkant van het huis is heel prettig, maar met kleine kinderen is het wel oppassen geblazen, omdat niet helemaal duidelijk is wanneer het schrikdraad voor de koeien aan staat.

we were welcomed by a very friendly couple (the owners) who just got the fire ready so we can start it if wanted and there was a bottle of bubbels cool in the fridge ;). the house is surrounded by lovely fields .. the house is perfectly equipted .. there was nothing that we missed … !!! we had lovely walks (enough info in the informationcenters in villages closeby .. we slept like babies !!! (lovely bed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) it was never too cold or too warm … it was ever ever so quiet .. we couldn't ask for more . the dogs had the time of their lives … and also slept like babies (we have a labrador and a labrador pointer mix) we would definately go back !!

Wij werden heel vriendelijk ontvangen door de eigenaar en zijn vrouw en kregen een rondleiding door het vakantiehuis. Ron en Katie Fletcher gaven ons allerlei informatie over de streek en de bezienswaardigheden. Zij wonen vlakbij, zijn altijd bereikbaar maar laten hun gasten verder volledig vrij. De zeer complete en schone vakantiewoning is bijzonder fraai gelegen op enkele kilometers van Sourdeval-les Bois, met een fantastisch uitzicht vanaf het terras op het heuvelachtige landschap van weilanden en bossen. Wij hebben leuke uitstapjes gemaakt naar o.a. de Mont Saint-Michel, de abdij van Hambye, Granville en het strand van Saint-Martin.

We werden zeer vriendelijk ontvangen. De omgeving is rustig. Mooie uitvalsbasis voor een dagje strand, Saint Malo, Mont Saint Michel, Caen, D-day stranden en vlakbij de Abbaye de Hambye en het leuke stadje Villedieu-les-Poêles. Uitzicht vanaf het terras is geweldig. stroompje dichtbij. Huisje heeft wat dingetjes, maar dat geeft het juist karakter. Veel privacy, maar als nodig wonen de eigenaren ernaast. Erg goed bevallen.

Huis was geweldig, erg schoon en bijzonder compleet uitgerust. Eigenaren zijn erg vriendelijk en de privacy is enorm. Enige minpunt voor ons was het feit dat de vele hectaren grond voornamelijk voor het uitzicht waren. We hebben twee kleine kinderen en overal staat schrikdraad. De eigenaren wilden dit best voor ons uitzetten, maar je hebt geen idee waar het landgoed eindigt en dat van een ander begint... ook waren er veel distels en brandnetels in het terrein. Verder niets dan lof hoor, maar dit was het enige puntje wat we zelf net iets anders verwacht hadden.

Wij werden hartelijk ontvangen in dit gezellige huis, door Mr and Mrs, met een mooi en warm vuur in de houtkachel. Het huis is als op de foto's. De haard is een warm middelpunt waar wij echt van genoten hebben (wij waren hier in november). Het uitzicht is héél mooi en de ligging centraal en landelijk in Normandië. s' Nachts hoor je alleen de uil. Daar houden wij van. Vanuit La Sayère kun je dit deel van Normandië prima verkennen en de bezienswaardigheden bezoeken. Wij hebben uiteraard le Mont Saint Michel bezocht (heel indrukwekkend en lekker rustig in de winter), Ste Mère Eglise met museum en Utah beach. Granville heeft aan de haven een hele fijne viswinkel voor vis en oesters uit de regio. Ook een aanrader! De aankomst van de vissersboten vonden wij ook heel leuk om te zien. Verder hebben wij heerlijk gewandeld in de omgeving en aan de kust. Onze hond Bess heeft ook genoten!
