PET FRIENDLY WITH STIPULATIONS
We welcome well-trained dogs to stay in this home. If traveling with a pet, please note that a non-refundable pet fee will be added after booking. We require that your dog be completely potty trained and prefer dogs older than 2 years old. Crate Trained pups are preferred to deter mischievous behavior while you and your party are enjoying the beach. It is understood that while we do allow dogs with the mentioned stipulations any damages that occur during your stay will be charged to the credit card on file with the minimum fee being $350.00. 


INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Only complaint was the middle bedroom sheets weren’t clean…my friend washed them herself and the dirty areas washed out….other than that…nice unit and great location….5th time I’ve stayed in this development…can’t be beat

Enjoyed our stay at this site. Beach access was what we were looking for and that was fantastic. Floor plan was easy and comfortable. Needed pet friendly and that was great... however found out early the morning we left, dogs aren't allowed on the beach. Nice place. Would recommend.

Annual vacation

Trip was great! We do feel the place needs to be cleaned a little better. Would be nice to have beach toys and accessories for the beach. A grill to cookout would be nice too. But overall good stay!

Almost perfect

The very best location we've stayed at in 40 years of beach visits. The property was excellent, but could use a few minor improvements and some pre-checkin attention (pillows were disappointing, light bulbs out, batteries missing from tv remotes). Very minor issues in an overall wonderful visit.

Family Vacation.

Gorgeous home with direct beach access. Very convenient for time on the beach. Had a few issues upon arrival , but guest relations was able to get them resolved. Parking very limited . Listing claims Private Pool , golf, water park , Grill , boating, kayaks and other amenities onsite. There are NONE of these at this property. Listing needs updated to reflect this issue.

There were some issues with activating the door code but they were resolved pretty quickly. The house was nice but needs a little bit of remodeling. However the view from the house was breathtaking. We will definitely come back.

BEWARE - DANGEROUS STEPS IN PROPERTYWe saw no mention of steps inside the condo in the listing when we booked. You have to walk down these steps to get from the kitchen into the living room. The steps are on an angle and really awkward. My 86 year old mother fell down these steps and had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance. There are no railings and the steps aren’t clearly marked. It is very dangerous for older people. She is now dealing with the aftermath of a concussion and a mild brain bleed. So older people traveling - please proceed with caution. The outdoor steps leading into the property aren’t clearly marked, wither and there is a spiky palm plant the hangs over the banister. We did have to reach out to property management and get three different door codes before we could get inside. Other than the steps, the property is nice.

Perfect Getaway

This was a great place to stay. Loved the location being away from all the congestion of PCB and not having to worry about getting a great spot on the beach. It was spacious, clean, and had everything you could need or want. The only downfall was the parking. When it fits 12, but only get one parking spot, it is a fight to find an additional parking spot for other vehicles in your group. They list out public parking lots, but they are all 9 miles and over a 20min drive to get to them, so if the other vehicles in your group are lucky enough to get one of the few extra spaces, make sure they stay there and only go out and about in the vehicle that is in the space specifically for this condo.

Youth Football Get a Way

Our grandson was staying with his team at the Christian Center down the road for a youth football tournament and we were looking for a place within walking distance. This place fit our priorities perfectly. The views and open area were wonderful. Sleeping arrangements for 5 adults and 3 kids worked out perfectly. The home has very little curb appeal, but once we got passed that, we were all extremely pleased. It looks like the kitchen was recently remodeled and had everything we needed. The old frying pan worked out better than the new ones. Everything seemed to stick to those. We managed with the one pan. The bedrooms were fine and very clean. The views from the back porch were amazing! The porch is a little worn, but still very comfortable. There was plenty of beachy items to take outside. The kids definitely put them to use. We never could figure out how to use the TV. We managed, but written instructions would have been nice. We would definitely come back.

Problems with Panhandle Getaways

The condo layout and location were great with appealing furnishings but Panhandle Getaways manages this property. Many problems with Panhandle Getaways' lack of effective communication and responsiveness: 1. On arrival, 2 hours and multiple calls and texts to get an entry code that worked 2. No way to secure the entry door from the inside to prevent small children from opening it. 3. Dishwasher was full and did not work! Two phone calls and texts to Panhandle Getaways. No repair or maintenance person ever came or contacted us during our stay. 4. Bathtubs needed cleaning before using.

Great location, needs better housekeeping

Fabulous location and equally fabulous view from the kitchen and living room! This and easy access to the beach was why we rented the property. I have two young children and the location made going to the beach super easy for us! Inlet beach is a quiet section and was great for social distancing. I give the condo 4 stars for cleanliness. When we arrived late evening on check in day, we found coffee grounds from the previous renters, dried food all over the outside of the trash can, dog hair (at least I hope it was dog hair) all over the sheets of the front bedrooms. I realize it is a dog friendly property, but dog hair should be removed between tenants. We also found wads of black hair in the kitchen, dried food stuck to the inside of cabinet under the kitchen sink, and a dirty dish brush in the floor of the kitchen. There was also only a broom and dust pan to combat the sand. The vacuum in the unit has no suction power when we tried to use it. A vacuum broom would be a nice addition to this property. The view and location helped us forget about the cleanliness. It was a shame that we had to clean and wash sheets after a 14 hour drive.

Great week for a family vacation

6 adults and 3 kids under 5, we stayed Friday to Friday. Overall, the stay was great. The area was quiet, safe and easy access to everything in Panama. The ocean view was beautiful, and the private beach made for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The parking is not made for multiple vehicles, as there is only 1 space per unit, with 3 visitor spots, which were taken the entire trip. We had to park our second vehicle miles away at a store, due to no other parking available. Beach access is right outside the back door, but a bit of a hike, so be prepared with wagon. The walkway from the house was overgrown, so we had to cut it back to make it easier for walking. The beach is a reserved/private area, so it was never crazy busy, which was really nice. We put our tent up early, and left it up until nighttime. There are limited items in the house to use when there, compared to other rentals I have stayed in before. Kitchen items - pots, pans, flatware - were very minimal. Luckily we didn’t plan to cook large meals, but if you do, come prepared. There was 1-2 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom, 1 roll of paper towels, and 1-2 trash bags, so we had to buy extra upon arrival, since we stayed a full week. Photos on VRBO didn’t match the unit we stayed in, and after reserving, the company reached out to via email to complete booking. Nothing went through VRBO after that. The house was clean, laid out nicely, and made for a comfortable trip.

Christmas Month Trip

We had a GREAT time at harbor arms 1. There was plenty of room, fully equipped and the view was amazing!! As we stayed for a month, the staff was great with communication and checking with us. The location was perfect for us as it was right in the middle of 30A and PCB. We like to do things in both areas. We were disappointed that PCB’s Christmas lights went up the week of Christmas and they were ok. However, down 30A is just MAGNIFICENT! The bar across the street though was loud the whole time we were there with music till closing which didn't bother us but could see where it could be a bother. The complaint that I have is that the place was dirty! The smell when you walked in was not a clean smell and definitely could smell pet urine. When we got there on the second day I had my husband go get supplies to clean the windows, they hadn't been cleaned in looks like months. I left the two windows in the living so that you could see the difference. It makes the view that much more prettier! Blinds were broke. Baseboards, vents etc were filthy!! My daughter came in the second week and used the room to the left, the bathroom in there baseboards behind that door was black and dirty! The couches were dirty and smelled. The mattresses were pretty bad as well as far as very hard! I would want to know if I were the owner,as this place could be amazing. I know they are remodeling but cleanliness goes along way! A deep deep cleaning is what it needs!

Not what was expected

We Pulled up to the property the as the "cleaning" people were leaving and first thing you see is trash around the outside of the townhomes. I understand that each townhome is rented out by other companies and people so not a bug deal. Seeing as the townhome sleeps 12 people I assumed that there would be plenty of parking however I was sadly mistaken. There is one spot for 12 people at this townhouse. I called and asked about more parking spots and they stated that there was overflow parking 8.5 miles away and if there are other people staying with me then I should call them to pick me up.....whattt!!! As I enter the house, I noticed that the floors were half swept. There were still food particles all over the floor. I had to sweep to keep my family from stepping on other peoples food and dirt left behind. There weren't enough towels for 12 people, only 7 towels were inside the house and 3 of them were still inside the dryer that we had to find. There is mildew on the top of each shower in every room. The carpets and couches are outdated and again there were stains on the couches and then dirt and dust underneath the couches and chairs. There were also dishes inside the dishwasher still. Overall not the best house to stay at and I would find another place. The good thing about this house is that the beach is super close and you can bring tents onto the beach to sit under and it's not a busy area.

Great beach experience!

The house is nice and right on the beach. The owner is thoughtful to provide everything needed for a stay at the beach including beach toys that our children enjoyed. The beds were clean and very comfortable. Overall, a great beach experience.

Lovely private beach house experience

Good location, felt like own private beach, great walking out from unit into the sandy path thru sea oat pathway to beach! Great calming view! Nice decoration of unit, but needs a refining touch. Doors were off the closets and laundry closet. Distracting from the nicely decorated unit!

Was too pricey for the unit.

Inadequate or unusable cookware. Dishwasher fell forward when you opened the door. Storage room on the deck was not useable causing less usable floor space. Door leading off the deck to the beach would not lock. No outside grill. Deck furniture was very nice and the view was great. The amount charged for the week seemed high for this unit.
