Rocamar Oceanfront Beauty!!!

Nested just 75 steps in front of the gorgeous beach of Esterillos Oeste and centrally located between Jacó Beach and Manuel Antonio sits our beautiful vacation villa.

****Please note that this villa is a 2nd floor unit****if you have any physical impairments that would prevent you from climbing 1 flight of easy climb stairs, please do not rent.

Esterillos Oeste is the ideal vacation destination community of choice in Costa Rica. Starting as a small fishing village on the Central Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, Esterillos Oeste is rapidly becoming the most desirable beach in Costa Rica offering dark sand beaches, small fishing boats on the beach, green palm trees overhanging the beach, a sea turtle preserve and a consistently good surf break with many other world-class breaks within a few minutes drive. This is truly a paradise!

The villa is located about 75 feet from the ocean, 20 minutes south of Jaco on the central Pacific coast of Costa Rica. It is a 1 1/2 hour drive from the International Airport in San Jose and it is in a very small development named Rocamar Villas. There are four buildings, a property manager's quarters, and a beautiful pool. A full-time property manager is present and we are fenced and gated. A big statue of the mermaid "Sirena" stands in the ocean to look over the fisherman and yes...you can buy fish right off the boats and grill them on your rooftop observation deck. Our 2 favorite places for food and drinks are Los Almendros and El Tropezón. Both are great.

Our Villa has 1 large bedroom (queen size bed) and 2 baths with showers. Marble floors, granite countertops, a fully equipped kitchen, and a laundry room in our villa make for a comfortable, leisurely vacation. For your use, we have air conditioning, cable TV, high-speed computer service, and WiFi.

The property is maintained 24 hours a day by our property manager/ pool guy/groundskeeper. Your comfort is never compromised at Rocamar Villas.

Hidden gem

Wow, this was such a great find! If you want to be in/near Esterillos Oeste, this place is the jackpot. Virtually oceanfront (it's just steps from the beach), beautiful and well-kept grounds and the condo itself is fantastic. It's light and bright, well appointed, clean and has everything you need, including a full kitchen and indoor laundry. Nice view of the grounds from the living area, and ocean views from the bedroom. The best part: the large, private, rooftop patio, where we ate many of our meals, enjoying the 360 views and ocean breezes. I rented a board from Brett's Boards, just a block away, and surfed right out front of the property every day. And with Roxy, the owner, being so accommodating and friendly, it was the icing on the cake. At the price of a hotel room, this place is an absolute steal!

Steps to the Beach

Very clean second floor condo with beautiful sunrise, ocean views. Sounds of the waves ever present. Property and pool well cared for. Property manager speaks only Spanish, but very available. Owner also available and responsive when translation needed. A bit of trouble with air conditioning in the heat of the day in the living area, but remedied. We cook a lot and managed fine, but would like to have better cooking equipment. We had a wonderful, relaxing time and would return to this property.
